I bought these for occasional costume use, rather than practical use. Wearing these with makeup on, the glasses can't get a good grip and don't feel at all secure; I had to put them much further down my nose for them to stay put longer than a couple of seconds. The wiring is also quite thick, so not easily adjusted.They were basically fine to put on for very short spells (which I suppose is the intention), but don't expect them to feel comfortable or secure, and you'll get a better grip without makeup.
