Stride Rite Star Wars Jedi Lightsaber Light-Up Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)

He didn't want to take them off for the first several days he wore them! I like that these shoes are the Star Wars theme without being violent or having ugly Darth Maul or Darth Vader on them. My son loves light-up shoes, and these are probably the last pair of light-ups he will own as he will go to a school with uniforms next year. They are a BRIGHT blue when brand new, so if you aren't used to that, it could be a shocker (as my husband exclaimed when my son showed them off). They look close to the color of blue in the pictures. As they get a bit dirty, the brightness of the blue is not as bright, and they go well with jeans or sweatpants.My son wears size 12.5 medium, but has one foot that is almost a full size smaller than the other. For some reason, he has always preferred Stride Rite shoes. They must be comfortable despite the size difference in his feet because even as a small child who couldn't express himself, he refused other brands of shoes. Thank you Stride Rite!

My 6 year old son started first grade today and more than anything, he most excited about wearing his new Jedi shoes. He could not stop running around. I asked him if they felt comfortable and he said "Yes and these shoes make me run faster". :) The lights look very cool and are really bright in the dark which is a great safety feature for nighttime. My son's shoe size is 12.5 but I ordered a size 13 and they fit as I expected, a little bigger for room to grow but not too big. These shoes are lightweight, not heavy like so other many light up sneakers are. In the picture the shoes look green with black mesh accents but they are actually navy blue. I was pleasantly surprised with this color combination because it adds a nice pop of color to my son's otherwise neutral school uniform. I'm really impressed with the quality and I highly recommend these super cool shoes for Star Wars fans.

Haven't bought Stride Rite in years but my son is really into Star Wars and these definitely caught his eye. They were great for the the first month, but two weeks ago he started complaining that the lights weren't working and when I took a closer look I saw that they were falling apart. My son doesn't play sports that require sneakers and basically would just wear them to school so it is a bit shocking that they only lasted just over a month. Extremely disappointed. We have bought cheaper shoes that not only lasted for him but for our younger son as well. Two stars is for the style and the tread still seems good.

Nice shoes, Have held up well so far. They are a bit on the tight side for our little guy, which makes them tricky for him to put on by himself. The tongue is not very long and hard to keep from pushing down into shoe when putting on.Light Sabers on side look great and light up BRIGHT.Probably would be wise to get a half size or more larger than your standard size.

We are devoted to Stride Rite. Their shoes can be a little more expensive, but the production quality and fit are well worth it. Both my 4yr old and 3yr old have worn them nearly exclusively since walking and I've never had a complaint. They hold up to high activity, take a beating out in the woods, and are easy enough to use for preschool on and off. The lights on the sides of these are SUPER bright which can be a downside, depending on usage... but we like them in general for fun times.

I have had stride rite shoes for my son in the past and they were so incredibly tight! So when I ordered these, I got an 11 1/2 wide. He usually wears an 11 regular. But these fit perfectly in the larger, wider size. I'm not sure why they make their shoes so small, but if you take that into consideration when you order, you will be very pleased!!! My son won't take these shoes off!!! He wanted to wear them to bed!!!! That's where I had to draw the line! Lol

We'd purchased several pairs of X-celerators in the past and loved them. Thought it was time to try a different Stride Rite shoe and my son liked the Jedi Lightsabers. Unfortunately, two out of the three lightsaber lights burned out in the first week's wear. The shoes themselves are well-constructed they just don't have as much rubber soling coming up and over the toe of the shoe. I found that extra rubber over the toe makes these shoes last way longer

These shoes are attractive and quality made. They fit as expected and light up, which is always a hit with my 5 year old son! Stride Rite has not disappointed in quality, which is important at the rate that my boys go through shoes!
