Chaco Men's Grayson Hiking Shoe

I have a number of pairs of Chaco sandals, clogs, and boots; all are incredibly comfortable for longer period-wear. I will be returning these, unfortunately, as they are much larger trail shoes than I anticipated, based on the images on Amazon. Nothing wrong with that, although at glimpse on the site they looked more like trail runners. The Graysons remind me, look- and feel-wise, of Merrell's Moabs. The Graysons felt as if they'd breathe fairly well, and in the time I woore them around the house, this seemed to be the case. Size-wise, they felt large: I wear a 10.5 for the other Chacos I have, and these felt 1/4-1/2 size too long; width-wise, they felt good.

For a flat does person these are a work out. They don't support the foot so much a keep it from pronating. A distinction worth making I think and one over prokaryotes would understand. It makes your foot work as it starts to develop more "normal" walking habits. So it is really good for your foot but is a bit of a work out. Give yourself a breaking in period. For your body. Not the shoe

should have ordered 1/2 size up.

Chaos are normally a little heavy, and these shoes follow suit. They fit perfectly and I look forward to putting them through their paces on the trail. The weight is the only reason for not giving five stars. Quality made product.

These shoes are great. Out of the box went on a 4 mile walk. No stress issues.Fit true to my size, 9.5. I was concerned by even positive review stars had true to size fit.Would buy again.

these shoes were strange feeling,,wide in some area's and then lil narrow in others..stubby looking and not very comfortable

They are a tad wide, but that's a relief--most of the time my shoes are too narrow. Great arch support. Here's an odd thing: the shoelaces are always loosening! If I really pull the bow tight and then double knot them they don't untie. Weird.
