Pro-Tec PROTEC Original Classic Helmet cpsc Certified

I was really into skating in the 80's and just picked it up again with my daughter after not touching a board for 25 years. I found this Cab version of the Pro-Tec when I got on a big nostalgia kick and needed a helmet to play the good role model. We're just messing around in the neighborhood right now so comfort and fit were my top priority. The helmet is nice and light and seems as strong as the one I had back in the day. It should be just what I need as I get back into the swing of things and relearn some of the tricks that could break the old skull.

Great helmet. Was worried about it because everyone said it had sizing issues. I got a size up like others said and it fit perfectly.

Cab rules, but this helmet feels like a skyscraper on top of my head. I should have bought a helmet with a lower profile and just slapped a cab sticker on it.

Son loves it, minimalist styling with lots of room for other stickers. Quick and reliable snap chinstrap, easy to adjust, easy to adjust fitting with extra pads.

Very lightweight and doesn't look as dorky as I thought it would!Sort of looks like a bowling ball from the tap. Has super, super comfy padding inside (beating my bike helmet for comfort hands down). Build quality is actually higher. When I have kids, I'll probably have them wear a skateboard helmet vs a traditional bike helmet when biking.

Very little padding. Uncomfortable

I use this helmet when I ride my folding bike and works great is very comfortable and fits pretty well.Is just beautiful and the paint job is amazing.I put just 4 stars because the internal padding could be better when you compare it with a Bern one.

I've skated vert and street for going on 10 years now and this is one of the best helmets I've ever owned. Doesn't slide around on your head, padding feels good and if you live in humid or hotter areas, there's nice air flow through the helmet to keep your head nice and cool. I did however have the red cloth over the padding come off but that's just the cloth over the padding. It doesn't effect the fit, or the feel of the padding. I totally recommend this helmet.

Ergonomique, léger, solide, ne tient pas trop chaud: parfait.

Top helmet , had one on the 80’s so thought I’d buy one again

I have to qualify the score - quality was great, finish great. I have a narrow and slightly large noggin, however and although these are reviewed as being good for narrow heads, they ain't for this bonce. Fit right in middle of XL at 61cm and yet it was too tight front and back and too wide side to side. I have seen it in normal heads and it looks great but just looked massive on mine. If you suffer from this problem, the TSG Kraken will fit fine. If you have a reasonably round head, this would be cracking.
