Fantastic
The 3" roller is perfect for warming up and cooling down; perfect amount of resistance in my opinion. I also own the 2.25" diameter roller which simulates about 70% of the resistance you would feel riding on the road in a given gear ratio. The smaller roller therefore allows brutal roller interval sessions but provides more resistance than you might want warming up at the track in a 90" gear. The blower and weighted flywheels are pure overkill for the 3" and the 2.25" size in my opinion. Kreitler even states that using these with sizes other than 4" will cause excessive wear and void the warranty. The orange compact frame is slightly shorter than the standard black one and the placement of the front roller uses a simpler design. Axle-through-the frame on the compact VS. an adjustable cotter pin arrangement on the standard. The rubber feet on these things wear out (dry rot) surprisingly fast and the Kreitler factory part is both needless and expensive. If you wear out the feet, get a 7/8" round cane tip - 8 of them for about $1 each on Amazon. The roller frame leg is rectangular but a round cane tip is in fact the factory part.

The best affordable set of rollers
If you are reading this you did your home work. This a hidden gem.The best affordable set of rollers, top quality. I tried to reverse engineer Cyclops and Kurt rollers ,they are both low quality Chinese products. Cyclops uses bearings sealed with plastic and low quality material in the rollers. Kurt does a better job, but the design contains a lot of plastic in critical joint pivots. Kreiter's are compact, industrial grade materials, ball bearings are top of the line and simple design. Great quality made in the U.S.Thanks

Worth every penny.
These have absolutely been a game changer for me. Took a day or two to get the hang of it, but they have become a sort of obsession. Expertly made, and they can give you an incredible workout. Strips riding down to its essentials; living in the Northeast, I am just sorry that I didn't take the plunge earlier. Forget spin class, forget gyms. Ride hard, and pay attention! Really awesome!

No Kompact Frame!!
I bought it for my husband as a Christmas present! The package arrived today... Without the Kompact Frame!!!! Package weight: 10 pounds instead of 25! What a disappointment!

Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. Functions like rollers should. I have used my set for multiple winters now and have not had to do anything to them other than tightening the acorn nuts that secure each roller occasionally. Also travel with them to races from time to time and they function well on slightly uneven surfaces too.

Sick rollers
You can tell as soon as you get them out of the box these are high quality equipment. I had never tried rollers before so it took me a couple tries to stay up without holding on to a bookshelf. This is an awesome way to ride no matter what the weather is like outside. After riding on these I'd never consider a stationary bike.

Five Stars
These are awesome. Very high quality product and they are fun to ride on.They have the perfect amount of resistance for me, it is a little less than riding on road. Light enough that you can do long sessions on them but enough resistance to get your heart rate up without being in the highest gear.
