I wanted to use it for cracking crab legs so it did not work really great for that but if I wanted it for Nuts it would be a great product.

Not suitable for standard pecan shape.

Not good for Pecans
Does not work on pecans and that is what I brought it for. I turned it all around in it and it broke the shell and the nut meat was just crumbled.

Use a hammer instead of this product!
