U.S. Divers Adult Anacapa I Mask and Island Dry Snorkel Combo

Great product! My wife and I have begun swimming laps at the gym pool. I have never been good at breathing while swimming laps and got discouraged. So, I decided to try out a snorkel to keep myself from getting discouraged. Best purchase I have made in a while. The mask is great, stays tight and I like the orange ratcheting mechanism to keep it tight or let pressure off of the mask. The snorkel is awesome for 3 reasons. It has this kind of float valve at the top so you can go under water and water will not enter the tube. They call it a "dry snorkel" and it works great! It also doubles as a splash guard when you are not under water. 3. Just in case water does get in, it has a purge valve at the bottom of the snorkel...so you just blow when you are above water and it releases water at the bottom rather than having to disengage the snorkel for try blowing it out the top. Very happy with the product, and I am swimming plenty of laps to get my cardio in with my wife now. Plus for me it had the added benefit of making my wife happy by sharing swimming laps with her. I have never tried it in the open water, but I am extremely happy with it in the pool.

I bought two of these for our family vacation to Key Largo. We did have some water issues with the snorkel but I am unsure how much to attribute to user error on the part of the kids. We used them a week and the kids had to be dragged out of the water. Best thing I bought for the vacation! Not sure how awesome they would be for a serious user, but I'm guessing a serious user would know what they were buying. The dry top is nice, the kids could dive down and not flood the snorkel. The purge valve worked perfectly. Well worth the money not to have to rent these everywhere we went and to have the dry top, which we needed because the first snorkel to Grecian Rocks was very choppy water.I rated four stars only because we did have water issues with the snorkels and I was unable to determine if it was the snorkel or the user.

Really nice - I gave it 4 stars as I have issues with the included clip for the snorkel is just not sturdy enough and will not stay put. Also I found the nose piece a bit too large, so I did have issues with water being sucked in when I tried to breath in with the snorkel. Also I would have like an easier strapping system that would allow me to adjust the strap after I placed it on my face. The mask itself is a nice high quality product as well as the snorkel. The issues I note is the reason I did not give it 5 stars.

Purchased this for my wife for our trip to Cancun and it worked great. The goggles didn't fog up and it was very simple to use. The construction and materials felt secure and sound. We only snorkeled on the surface and didn't dive so I don't know how well the one-way flap works, but it is there. There is a small plastic piece that keeps the snorkel attached to the goggle strap, like any snorkel should. Size worked great for my wife who is 5'4" and also worked for me and I'm 5'10". The goggle has a nice flap around the edge that did a good job of keeping the water out. Great set and great price. This does not come with the flippers.We packed in our bags and carried it in a day pack with no damage.

Arrived quickly. I bought 2, one for myself and the other for my boyfriend. They fit us both fine. The DrySnorkel kept water out just like it advertised. I went snorkeling and submerged without any trouble. Very easy to clear any water that does spill in because the design keeps it from welling up in the bottom curve near the mouth. No leaks in the mask unless I broke the seal by smiling. :) Got great use out of them and I thought it was a great price!

I purchased this snorkel and mask to use during our cruise to the Caribbean. It worked great and was easy to adjust. However, the mask left me with a gnarly mark on my forehead for a couple of days. My wife bought a similar mask, but hers was made from silicone which was much more comfortable. I wish I had spent a few more bucks to get the same one as her. But overall, the mask and snorkel worked well.

I used this product to go snorkeling on the great barrier reef. The mask sealed great to my face without being too tight. The mechanism on the snorkel worked really well to allow minimum water into the device while fully submerged. It greatly minimized the amount of times I choked on water and really enhanced my experience. The only issue was that the little plastic piece connecting the mask to the snorkel snapped only after the second time I tried it on. I found a quick replacement, but be careful handling it when they are attached. Other than that, I would recommend this product!

The snorkel was not designed well. I used a few different snorkels on our trip, and this one behaved poorly, as one of the flaps meant to keep water out would close when breathing in on occasion. So suddenly, you'd need to blow out to get the flap in the right spot to keep breathing. The other "dry" snorkels I tried didn't have this issue.Of course, that pales in comparison to the mask failing all-together. The first day using it, I was taking the mask off, and the plastic piece that joins the strap to the mask broke, rendering the mask useless. You could see these tiny little plastic pins are all that's holding it together.I have put in for warranty replacement, we'll see if they send me a new set. Not that I really want to use this set again, but maybe they've improved the design so it won't break the first day you use it.

I love it. Works great! Water easily drains out of the bottom when you come up from driving under the water. You don't have to blow out the water.

I like this product very much. Used it two weeks ago during vacation. I thought it would fog up as my first one when it was new. But it did not. I'm very happy with this product.
