I love the way it has two separate lampshades the white one and then the black mesh that goes over it. It is truly unique and gives just enough light for a bedroom in the evening or early morning

Nice accent lamp more of a mood lamp

This lamp seems very well made. It has an in-line toggle switch that works very smoothly, and includes a 25-Watt bulb (actually - 2 of them!).The shade (in my opinion) actually looks better without the black metal shroud, but you can use it either with or without the black metal mesh, so you actually get 2 lamps in one! It will make a great bedside lamp, with the toggle switch hanging down, you'll be able to reach it better from the bed, than if the switch were mounted on the lamp-post itself.Personally (due to 70-year-old eyesight), I will replace the light with a 40 or 60 watt LED bulb, so it will be bright enough to read by before falling asleep. In a guest bedroom, I might leave the 25 watt bulb in, to make for a good night light (Note, however, that the 25-watt bulb is Tungsten -- and it DOES get HOT -- a 400 lumen LED bulb would be a safer choice for in a guest bedroom). Either way, it's a good little lamp for bedroom or spare room.

I'm using on bedside table for reading at night but using at the moment for room light behind and to the side rather than in front of me on desk. It is much easier on my eyes and not distracting. The switch is far easier to use than those roll type on cords or the ones on the light. The cord is plenty long for most people. The metal part of shade it can be used with or without that depending on your preference. It does come with two bulbs so you won't need those for awhile. I don't know if it is the bulb or the lamp itself, but, my one issue is it does seem to be hotter than most lamps.

This is a solid lamp. The base is heavy so it stays put, would not be easy to bump off the table. It seems well made. There is a soft material on the bottom so it does not scratch your furniture.It was really tightly packed in a block of styrofoam--had to open both ends of the cardboard box to get it out! Unlikely to find anything broken in there. An extra bulb was included, a good thing since I had never seen this style of bulb before!The bulb should be quite bright enough for reading.The design is pleasing on the eye. Look at the instructions on the product page to see all the parts to the shade and assembly--it went together easily. The outer shade is a kind of chain-mail fabric, which is a nice touch.The only downside is the cord seems a bit short for my needs at 4 1/2 feet.I normally do not give more than 4 stars.

I think this lamp is super cute, and just big enough for a small bedside lamp(or where ever you want to put it). It comes with two light bulbs, and yes, they don't emit a lot of light, but for me it's perfect. I just need enough light if I'm on my laptop when I need to see the keys, or enough light so I don't trip while leaving my room for the bathroom. If you need more light, you can always replace the bulbs, so it really isn't an issue. Overall, I'm definitely happy with this, and I'll probably get another one so I can have one on each side of the bed.

Smaller than I thought- pay attention to the measurements- it is smaller than a typical night stand lamp. It is cute and functional- just wish it was bigger.

This small, industrial style night light is great for the bedside or as an accent lamp anywhere you just need a small amount of light. The wire "cage" that goes over the shade creates a trendy look that is popular in decor today, but it can also be used without the "cage." Two 25 watt candle-type bulbs are included with the lamp. There is a toggle switch on the cord for turning on the power and it is convenient to reach from the bed. The lamp is well made and lightweight and could be used in many different places.I think this lamp is a great value for the price and I would recommend.
