I'm Not Vegan, but Apparently My Shoes Are
I bought these shoes mainly for their retro look and the fact they're vegan is more of a plus for me. They came with two pairs of laces, which I thought was a nice touch, especially for the price. The shoes themselves are incredibly lightweight yet supportive and the comfort level is very high. I wear them for running errands and general casual wear, but I always notice how comfortable they are.I can't speak to some of the durability issues others have mentioned, as I have not owned them for long. However, I would suggest that they are only worn on dry, sunny days. Here in MN, where the snow has been melting and was followed by rain, I wouldn't recommend wearing these during those times. The canvas and hemp won't hold up under those conditions. Additionally, if there are issues with the seams popping/splitting, I would suggest there might be a sizing problem. That aside, I think these shoes are hard to beat for casual wear and for the price.

2 Sets of Laces and Great Shoes
This is the first pair of Saucony shoes I've ever owned and I'm very pleased. I've typically worn the heavy, suede, New Balance 564 fora retro running shoe, but wanted something lighter. The low profile sole is more reminiscent of Onitsuka Tiger shoes, which are also a favorite of mine.Unlike the Asics shoes, these have a more traditional running shoe style. As vegan shoes, I don't expect them to last long and I'm not expecting a great athletic shoe, because vegan shoes never are, imo. They're very comfortable shoes, although I'd still give the edge to Onitsuka Tigers in that regard. I am slightly worried that they don't breathe well, due to an inner sock lining that covers the entire inside, but that's not a huge factor for me.The fit is just great for me, but I have somewhat narrow feet. These do run narrow, especially in comparison to the 564, which is wide even in standard widths. My most common athletic shoe sizes are 10.5-11 and I purchased these in a perfect 10.5. For the sake of comparison, I typically wear an 11 in Nike, 10.5 in Onitsuka Tiger and have recently had to size up to an 11.5 in New Balance. In closing, I'll note that they come with 2 sets of laces in different colors, even though I saw no mention of this anywhere. I ordered them in Navy, and in addition to the Navy laces shown, they also included some in cream that match the stripe. I was actually hoping they would do that and will probably use the cream colored laces.

I own 2 pairs. I'll probably replace them as needed.
If I had a uniform, these would be the shoe selection. They're not only probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, but the soles don't seem to ever really wear down. I wear my older pair for working out or camping. I wear my newest pair at work (I work in a casual office). I'll probably just keep buying them, but they really don't really wear out where it counts.Only downside:I can't speak for everyone, but because I take them off with no hands, they do tend to begin to wear out where I use one foot to remove the other shoe. This is usually along the ankle bone and along the Achilles tendon. Again, this may be minor, as a pair I've had for nearly a year only just started doing this. They may also begin to wear down from the inside around the big toe if you don't keep your toenails trimmed. My latest pair haven't down this at all, but my first pair did — not all the way through, but enough to big to be evident from the toe cap. I remedied it by putting a little gorilla tape on the inside of the toe because it was my own toes wearing it down from the inside. That kept it from wearing down any further.Summary:Comfortable as house shoes.Resilient as any other sneakers.Keep your big-toenails trimmed and maybe take off with your hands rather than your feet.Love that they're animal-friendly.Affordable to boot.Get some — you'll love 'em.I hope Saucony keeps making these because they're probably the only kind of sneakers I'll buy.

These are pretty amazing shoes.
I don't like to take the time to write reviews unless I really, really like something. And, so...A little contest, first. I am not a political "vegan." While my diet is all plant-based and whole foods, I still wear leather stuff. But, as the world turns, I try to make an effort when I can. After all, what is the point of wearing an animal product, if there's a better (and sometimes cheaper) alternative.Buying shoes online is always a risk. You are guessing on subtle variations in size, trying to glean the best of the customer reviews, while ignoring the more nuanced negative reviews. We are simply investigating as much as possible before pulling the trigger and clicking that "Proceed to Checkout" button.I've always been a Saucony fan. From my first marathon, to my last. I've tried other brands - but I always come back to my one true love - Saucony. My new shoes arrived in two days - even though the shipping date suggested they would arrive in well over a week. So, I was so excited to see that box on my front porch when arriving home from a long walk with my dog, wearing my old, worn-to-the-sole lime green and black Saucony Power Grids. For my new treads, I chose the blue-beige color in an 8-1/2. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the shoes came with two colors of shoestrings - matching beige and blue - how cool is that? So, I've tucked away the very cool beige strings for another day.I know it's day one, but I don't think I've ever worn a more comfortable pair of running shoes. No weird bumps inside grinding away at my feet and they already felt broken-in. And there's a nice "floaty" (can't think of a more descriptive word) feel as I glide along the pavement - walking or running. I've worn them all day and not only do they just look cool - even in non-running gear, but feel like a part of me.I read somewhere that with "vigorous" use, the top toe area may wear out quickly - we will see if that happens. But, I do not run regularly - maybe a couple time a week. I probably walk about 30 to 35 miles per week, though. So, for me these will never see "vigorous" activity. Nevertheless, they seem VERY-well put together. The fabric is very comfortable and as described in one of the articles I read, the canvas and hemp fabric makes them look very stylish. To be fair this review is from DAY ONE of wearing them. But, I've purchased so many shoes in my lifetime, and have run quite a few half and full marathons and fun runs (I'm a novice, not a hard-core runner). When I buy my shoes, I KNOW from day one if they are right for me or not - and most times, trying on lots of shoes at brick and mortar locations. But I have NEVER found shoes this comfortable before - let alone, online. And, because they are Saucony, I am pretty confident I will remain in love with them long after our honeymoon.I highly recommend these shoes.

I love my vegan shoes
I love my vegan shoes. These are my second pair of Jazz Low Pro. They work great in the fall and spring and even winter time but can become quite hot in the summer. These are not very breathable shoes because the fabric is really tightly woven. I am wearing them right now :)
