Place them away from people zones...they smell bad...
The media could not be loaded. These fly traps work well! The video was recorded 10 days after I hung it and it is still attracting and trapping flies!

Very effective
They are very effective in trapping flies. Other brands of refills don’t see similar results.

Don't expect swarms - Updated Review
My expectations were high based on seller's claim of 20,000 flies. The container may hold that many over time but don't expect flies fighting to get in (no large horse fly with a velvet rope and flies lined up down the street), but it does work. I followed the directions. Placing the bait was easy and non-messy. But it takes a fews days (about 3) for the bait to really activate. Word of caution: do not hang this in an enclosed area like a garage or anywhere outside you plan on spending time at like a porch or patio. You want to hang these outside away from your house. The bait smells like a 10 day old dead animal. It will stink up your garage and you'll smell it when the breeze blows across your porch. Place it out on a tree limb in the yard or an outbuilding. It does attract flies and once they enter the trap they won't escape. I've had mine up for about a week and I can see activity but I'm not sure how long it will take until I need to empty and replace the bait. The twist ties they provide for hanging the trap seem sturdy and are a nice addition to the product. Overall, if you have a fly problem, this may be a helpful addition to any remediation plan. UPDATE: I moved the trap to the eave of a storage shed and away from the porch. Within a couple of hours there was a marked increase in activity. I've upgraded my rating to 4 stars. Placing closer to the ground and further into the yard seems to be the best placement for these traps. My recommendation is this is a good product for the price, less messy and unsightly than the tacky fly strips and effective.

It really works!!! No more flies!!!
Bought this because my son spends a lot of time on the porch on his tablet or playing and there was so many flies I had no idea where they were coming from, we found this filled with water and hung it up on the porch..literally by the second day this ENTIRE THING was full to the brim with flies. I couldn't believe it. We actually had to empty it and refill. Loveeee this stuff. Would absolutely recommend!!

Stinky catches the Fly!!
I purchased these to put on either side of my chicken coop. I have been using these for several years. Yes they smell really really bad, but that is what you want to attract the flies. I don't have any problem with flies in the coop because they are all in the trap. I have had these 2 hanging from the chicken run for just one month and the containers are full. They are reusable. I just rinse them out and add another stinky pack and the flies come flying...lol. But not for long :)

It's the "Hotel California" of fly traps
Works just like the song Hotel California, where they can check-in, but can never leave. Thing catches them and they stay caught. And they are reusable, just empty and drop in new bait pack and refill with water. A good value I think..The flies inside, were caught after only a few hours of putting it up. It says 12-24 hours to activate, ours was catching a few within 4-5 hours.

It’s works, but the smell is horrible after a few days, won’t use them again
We used it for outside flys, after about a week I smelled this Oder thinking something dead, nope, it would come and go, making me gag finally after a few days ( now I am only 4’11 ) my husband says it the fly catcher, I stood there trying to get a smell and OMGOSH, it ranked like outside toilets never dumpedIt caught lots of fly, it dragged in tons of fly, we took it down

Definitely works, but draws in more fly's, and smell
I must say that this trap definitely works, but like all other fly and insect traps, it attracts more flies from the surrounding area and neighbor's yard. So not sure if it's a good thing to bring in more flies in my yard. Plus it will smell if you don't dispose of the dead flies regularly. Not really reusable unless you can stand the smell of dumping it and watching tons of fly's fly away when you dump it. The disposable bag type are a better choice. But at least it is more pleasant sitting in the back yard now and we are able to relax instead of swatting flies.
