Fits perfectly and is a great addition to my drill press
I was a little bit concerned buying this due to the negative feedback it received. I was concerned it would not fit my older Delta drill press. It fits Perfectly and was easy to mount. Should have a second flip stop with it, would be a nice feature. Overall very solidly built. It is not steel as some reviews suggest. It is Aluminium. Comparing it to home made drill press tables, this is a better choice and cheaper after all. Happy with the purchase.

Well made but not quite right for my needs
This is a nice, well made fence but I needed it for a drill press and it doesn't fit well on my DIY quality drill press' worktable. I plan on fabricating a larger plate with slots to accommodate this fence. At the moment, I have to use C-clamps to hold it in position which is cumbersome since the underside of the drill press worktable isn't flat.

It could be better.
I set up the fence in the high-profile position. The screws for the mounting assemblies bottomed out before the mount seated in the T-track. This caused the fence to rock forward and back. It was locked in position and didn't move side to side, but it still pivoted vertically on the ends of the screws. I added washers and it worked, the mount seated as it should, and the screws didn't bottom out (see image). Without adding the washers, the fence was useless to me, and I would have returned it. The cam seats are soft, they could have been a better plastic, maybe Nylon. The T-bolts are coarse thread, a fine thread would lend to more adjustability. Further, the set screws for the T-track on the mounting assemblies are too close to the cam lever. They should be set slightly further apart to make them more accessible. Even better, the fence could be attached to the mounting assembly with knobs instead of screws but that would require a design overhaul. As is the set-up is stiff and a little cumbersome but consider that there is play in the T-slots on the drill press table and this is for woodworking not machining, so it's good enough, I'll keep it. If you wax the table and the contact parts of the fence it's easier to work with and adjust. I was able to zero the fence and checked it with a steel ruler against the stop. For this review the fence was mounted on a Delta 18-900L Drill Press.

I have another fixture that used cam locks and those have been replaced with knobs like I will do the this fence
First let me say that it is made of aluminum not steel as other reviewers stated. A magnet does not stick. It is beefy but the weight is from the amount of aluminum. There is a lot of aluminum in there. The t-bolts fit my standard t-tracks perfectly. The cam locks are an issue and was aware of this before I ordered. I have another fixture that used cam locks and those have been replaced with knobs like I will do the this fence. The flip stop works well. For this price I don't know of another fence that offers so much for so little when compared to others. Like I said before, the cam locks require some attention. The knob that locks the flip stop is to large for clearance. The stop can only be used on one side or the knob can get in the way. Need to be no larger than 3/4" OD.

Just the ticket for the 19-900L
Very well-made. Fits perfectly on Delta 18-900L. I'd seen some reviews here and elsewhere about how the lock-down clamps wouldn't adjust properly. When I first installed the fence, this was my experience, so I uninstalled it, and simply turned the "T's" that fit into the T-track 180 degrees and reinstalled it. Now they work perfectly and point away from the fence when they are tightened. I used the fence immediately and wish I would have gotten it when I first got the drill press. So much faster and easier than making my own fence with boards and clamps every time.

Not impressed...but will keep it
Why did I buy this? Because it was made for the drill press I currently own (Delta 18-900L).Biesemeyer is part of the Delta brand...which as of 2020, still sucks. So it was no surprise this was going to be just a little disappointing. Still, it is functional...it works...so I'm giving it 2 stars. This is not the same Biesemeyer brand as my old Biesemeyer table saw fence system. That was made when Delta table saws were made in America. That Biesemeyer, like my old made in the USA Unisaw, is so well made that it will outlive me and whoever owns it next.I will outlive this unit and I'm 53 years old.It arrived as an opened package with parts falling out.I could blame this on Amazon or the shipper, but the packaging was simply very basic...not a lot of consideration. The parts that did fall out were damaged through the plastic envelopes. The general machining and quality of the parts are not typical Biesemeyer quality. Why wouldn't you just add $20 to the price and add a little steel in the right places...make it simple but bulletproof and good enough to outlive 2 generations. Instead of something, more than likely, destined for a landfill after 5-10 years. What is wrong with the tool industry? They are tools. Tools should me like...TOOLS!I'm from a generation that has seen a drastic drop in the quality of everyday things. It's sad.Make it better Delta. Also please figure out a way to pack the user manual so that it's not a crumpled mess wen you open the flimsy box.

Not a universal drill press fence.
I have a delta Bench Drill Press and wanted a fence for it. I assumed that a Delta Universal Drill Press Fence would fit all Delta Drill Presses. I was wrong. I tried to do my research before both on Amazon and at the Delta websites to make sure this would fit my drill press, but neither site gives any real information on this. (Amazon, it would be helpful if you posted the three pages of instructions for this fence on your page for it - then I would have known that it would not fit my drill press.) The instructions for this fence say that if it does not fit your drill press, then you will just have to clamp it on each end. That is what I would have to do -- which takes away all the benefit of having a Biesemeyer fence. I paid 68.99 for this, for about 10.00 I can get two c-clamps and piece of 2X2 wood and have just as good of a fence. Needless to say, I am returning this. It would be a good fence if it fit my drill press. Don't buy this unless you know it fits your drill press.

Be sure your drill press platform has straight slots forward and back or side to side.
I like it but still have to make a more usable table for it as the drill press platform isn’t adequate for wood work compared to metal. Nothing wrong with the fence at all.
