This is a powerful light. It uses 10W maximum - most LED desk lights are 4W.It comes well packed and complete but folded up, so there is no self-assembly required. It has a very heavy metal base about the size of a credit card and three inches deep with a plastic upright; the hinged light contains 24 white and 24 yellowish LEDs and is also plastic with a plastic diffuser. (Metal would get extremely hot; even the plastic gets hot with the LEDs all on). The light may be swivelled to any angle between straight up and straight down, folded into the upright.The base has USB-A and USB-C charging sockets on the top. I wish this was done more; I am arthritic and being able to press down to push in a cable, without having to hold the base at the same time or fiddle around at the back, is a big help. Both inserting and removing USB cables, and swivelling the light, can be done with one hand because the base is so heavy.Everything is controlled from a silver dial (plastic, although it looks like metal) next to the USB sockets.Because of the high wattage the light ranges from dim to shatteringly bright, leaving a visual afterimage if the LEDs are visible. A short press on the dial turns the light on; a second short press switches between all white LEDs on, all yellowish LEDs on, and an intermediate warmth where all LEDs are on; a long press turns the light off. Turning the dial changes the brightness in small steps. When the light is switched off, the set warmth and brightness are preserved.This light replaced a twelve-year-old one which cost about five times as much with a fixed warmth setting and two intensities - and the light it gave out was clearly inferior in quality. Things improve!There are only two issues. First, the adaptor and lead are black, when the rest of the light is white, and look a bit cheap. However, there is a standard barrel connector on the metal base and the adaptor and lead could be replaced easily if required. Second, if the light is switched off then on at the wall it doesn't come on automatically. The trick is to turn the knob rather than press it, which is not obvious.Overall, an excellent light. It is probably too bright for the bedside, but is ideal for desk use or even to light up a reasonable-sized room at its highest intensity. If I could give 4.5 stars I would as the mismatched adapter and lead are an unfortunate slip.

Excellent desk light for home.

This is a great light. I love the different shades of light. I am able to dim the light as well. The only draw back is the base is not heavy enough to stop it tipping while you adjust the light head. I have to hold it with 2 hands

They are very good at providing a light to suit my needs. Very clear, very variable. I have a slight concern with stability as they are my bedside lights and I have knocked one over a couple of times whilst fumbling in the dark. That said I am delighted with my purchase and I would buy them again.

The media could not be loaded.  Love the overall design of this lamp. I use it on my nail table. It has a weighted base so doesn't get knocked over easily. The light on the lamp can be turnt up or down and has 3 different hughes which is handy, also gives great light coverage.

This Honeywell Lamp is extremely compact and it produces an array of adjustable bright, warm, cold, light adjustments. Perfect for a small reading desk or table. And, it has a USB and USC ports for charging cell phones, etc. Nicely made and very attractive. I was extremely pleased with this purchase!

I needed a light, portable lamp that I could easily relocate within my living space. Wanted LEDs for energy efficiency. I looked at (and have) cheaper lamps, but many have design features that prove annoying.This lamp is great. Brightness is excellent. It's simply designed and has a tiny footprint, taking up little real estate on my working surfaces (important when I'm improvising on a coffee table). Despite the small base, it's very stable. The USB outlet is handy; the lamp is great even without it. It folds up nicely so it's easy to adjust and move should I decide to relocate; even the power adapter has a pleasant, not-too-big form. I like the dial for adjusting brightness and the ability to toggle through different colour temperatures; the controls are simple but they make sense. The only thing I might change is to have some sort of tactile feedback that lets me know when I have reached max brightness, but that's a small quibble.One great feature is the lamp remembers the last settings used and starts there when you turn it on again.So many lamps I've used have adjustable brightness levels and colour temperatures, etc., but when you turn them on and off manually and then turn them on again, they typically *start* at their brightest setting. Perhaps this is the cheapest way to make such lamps, because it seems to be the norm. This tendency is annoying if you are using the lamp as a bedroom reading lamp; I don't know how many times I've needed a little bit of light in the middle of the light and blinded myself with when the 'adjustable' *starts* at the brightest, whitest light level.This lamp is different. As long as I remember to set the lamp the way I want it before I turn it off, I get the light levels I want when I turn it on again. It was one of the features that convinced me to choose this lamp over others. And yes, I'm glad I did.

Boa iluminação da secretária. É vantajosa a opção por 3 tipos de luz e 10 níveis de intensidade, ainda que na prática se use sempre a mesma... Ainda por cima, para mim, é a mais "elegante" da concorrência.

Questa lampada è disegnata molto bene e risulta perfetta per un ambiente arredato in stile moderno.L'illuminazione è più che soddisfacente ed efficace sia per attività di lettura/scrittura sia come supporto ad un pc nelle ore notturne.Possiede tre livelli di calore della luce (freddo/caldo/naturale) con circa una decina di livelli di intensità per ognuna delle tonalità; devo dire che ogni livello risulta piuttosto interessante e non è semplice scegliere quale dei tre sia il migliore. La presa usb-C può essere comoda in alcune occasioni, anche se usandola si perde un po' il senso di pulizia estetica che possiede questo elemento.Nota di miglioramento: la lampada possiede soltanto un asse di rotazione, ovvero quello che permette di scegliere l'inclinamento del braccio a led, mentre non è possibile ruotare o inclinare in alcun altro senso, perdendo così in flessibilità d'uso.
