Highly Unstable, Fragile, Shoddy Construction
Flight Characteristics: First flight resulted in immediate tight spiral into ground (hand-launch, taxi would've resulted in ground loop), presumably due to prop torque (though see below.) Next several 1-2 second flights engaged in adjusting trim and finding subtle rudder control necessary to keep plane aloft. Flew nicely for a few minutes-- albeit with hard rudder -- until single battery ran out. In subsequent uses, elevator issues arose, resulting in immediate stalls or, following attempts to trim, dives.Billed as a good plane for beginners. Would be if stable, as it flies slow, turns easily, but unstable without constant attention to rudder & elevator.Fragility: At 1 oz., at least bounces on crashes. But extremely light construction: e.g., very thin wings; struts attached with just a dab of glue. Tail skid broke off eventually. Cover to charging port on transmitter also broke off.Construction: Attractive livery, appealing details. Out of the box, empennage was skewed, with vertical stabilizer off vertical, right horizontal twisted.Lists at $120 from most outlets, purchased from Hobbytown via Amazon for $60. Not a bargain for what is essentially a display piece.

nice easy to fly
The only problem I had was with the supplier. Battery would not charge so I called the number and never got a call back. I found the correct battery and ordered it. When the new battery got to me it charged right up and is an awesome plane. Supplier not so much. Wont order from them again.

Its splendor is a passion without compromise.
Elaborate detail that does not compromise, lightweight aircraft that do not compromise, vivid coloring that does not compromise.Everything is wonderful, even if also not fly keep decorating fun. I will praise the Ares engineers who made this.
