Q: How much electricity does it use? What is its power rating?

I believe it is 2kw (2000watts) You only need to have it on for 10mins so estimated cost for each use would be 5p.

Q: Does this loof lighter have uk 3 pin plug

Yes it does have a uk 3 pin plug I believe. First one broke after a few uses. Replacement is great and works fine.

Q: Does it work on a 220v power outage?

It is best to check with Manufacturer for safety I use mine from normal electric supply Sorry I can’t be more specific

Q: After the fire gets started, can you run the fan without the heat?

No. It is a great machine and with wood burners gets the fire started very quickly. It's hand held so you control the time required. If for some reason your fire goes out later a quick go with Looftlighter ignites the old embers and gets it started again with fresh logs.
