The taps in the set were good and usable but unfortunately the dies were so poorly machined that they were completely useless. I returned the set, don’t recommend buying it.

I really only needed one specific tap but since I didn't know the thread size for the M8 bolt I needed, this kit gave me the best chance of having a tap that fit, since it had three thread sizes for the M8 tap. When I opened it I discovered that there are two taps for each size, giving redundancy in case you snap a tap in half. It worked fine for the exhaust manifold bolt hold I had to drill out and retap. The tap showed no signs of being stripped when I was finished. Remember to use lots of lubricant like PB Blaster and go slow and take your time, backing out the tap and cleaning the metal filings off. Don't use brute force to try and tap the hole on the first try.

Can not beat the price of this for a master metric tap and die set... only draw back had to get a bigger tool box it's huge (draw back for the wife, upgrade for me ) :)
