Cat Harness and Leash Set for Walking Escape Proof, Khaki, Large

I wasn’t a cat person and my wife wanted a dog. We went to pet store to get fish for our new pond and ended up coming home with a kitten we rescued. We made her a house cat, but have successfully trained her with the harness and leash and now take her out frequently and have even brought her camping with us. Love the tactical look and the patches that some with it. The handle is great to pick her up quickly if needed and then can hold her property. It took several attempts to get her used to it, and as much as she hated it in the beginning she had gotten used to the harness and doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She will go to the door and basically ask for it to be put on so she can go outside. Once she associated it with being outside she seemed to not mind it all. Highly recommend this style as we tried a different one first. I was skeptical about the Velcro but it holds strong and now prefer it better than any clip. Also seems to fit well while remaining snug and comfortable. I think we started with a medium size based on measurements, but needed to replace with a small for a better fit. Our cat is only about 9-10lbs.

this is the cutest vest ever! The construction of the vest is very high quality. I feel confidant that my cat will not slip out of this vest. It must be comfortable for him to wear, since he's never once fought wearing it. From the very first time I put it on him, he was ready to go! None of that "drag the cat around the room like a dry mop" stuff with this vest. Something about the vest looking so official...as if he's part of a Search & Rescue Operation...he seems to walk a little taller while wearing this vest. Like he has a purpose. I can't say enough about this vest. Both me and my cat are very happy with this unique find!

This style of harness works best with our cat and is the one we harness trained him in starting as a kitten. It’s way safer than other styles, like the ones they step into and fasten on top. He literally slipped right out of one of those while he had never slipped out of this one and he is walked outside daily. We are on our 3rd one after we started using it a year ago. He grew out of the first because he was still a kitten. The 2nd wore out pretty quick, with the padding breaking down within 3-4 months. We wash ours on the gentle cycle and hang to dry about once a month. Only the handle seems to fade over time. Because the padding breaks down, I had to sew in a chenille fabric lining on the inside because where the handle attaches started rubbing his fur out. But you have to realize our cat wears this EVERY SINGLE DAY for daily nature walks and car rides back and forth to work with me. The lining I sewed in solves that issue and that’s really the only thing I’d change about this harness is if it came with a soft lining. Other than that, it’s a reasonable price, fits safely and securely, is obviously comfortable for him because he only fights putting it on on days he wants to stay home instead of going to work with me, lol. It never restricts his mobility and is effortless to put on compared to the step in styles.

This is a really nice harness and seems comfortable for my cat to wear. I’m not completely convinced it’s escape-proof, though. It closes with Velcro, and my cat can wiggle out of it if it isn’t secured very tightly. Overall, I like the harness, but I make sure to check the fit carefully before taking her outside. I haven’t tested it in public as I only feel comfortable taking her out to the backyard.

My 18lb rescue kitty has been wanting to go outside lately. I won't let him out unless he is secured.... so we ordered him this XXL harness and leash. He loves it (as much as a cat would love a harness) He is beefy and this fits him perfectly, he isn't able to escape and the patches are adorable!

Love it. I have a frisky cat but this vest allows us to walk the cat on a leash. ( or should I say the cat walks us). I was afraid the Velcro wouldn’t hold, but it does. All I have to do is hold up the vest, put some treats down, and this ornery little cat stands there and lets me put it on, then eats his treat. I’ve purchased 2 now since the cat keeps growing and know I’ll be getting a third as needed.

Very tinny for 2 pound Yorkie. Fits snug enough JAZZY doesn’t slip out when picked up by the handle. Mommy had back surgery and doesn’t bend - and I’m fast. Told I’m a wiry YORKIE with lots of attitude. I’m speedy so you have to grab me fast and she needed something that fits snug but not to tight that I won’t slide out. Like that the handle goes along length of body. The ones with handle at the neck make me dangle and slide out the back. Recommend Highly if your a tiny fur baby and mommy needs help in not bending after back surgery.

reçu en avance sur la date de livraison ; ce gilet harnais n'est pas conforme à sa description ..... et, surtout n'est pas adapté à mon chat sibérien adulte. IMPOSSIBLE de l'ajuster correctement à son cou, tissu trop rigide pour sa robe longue et très fournie.

Mon chat a réussi à se sortir du harnais. Il est fin renard. Toutefois le harnais semble bien fait et solide quoi que assez pesant pour un petit chat.

My cat is super smart. He would get out of this in seconds. It is well made. If your cat is more calm, it may work for you.
