Simple yoga stool -seiza bench in solid oak

I have just received this bench and I was struck by the beauty and quality of it. It reminded me of the lovely craftmanship that used to fill our house when my lovely late father was alive. I suffer from fibromyalgia and also have quite chubby legs so I find it hard to get into a comfortable sitting position. The bench feels perfectly comfortable. It also feels good for my back issues. I was actually very pleasantly surprised. It has the look and feel of a lovely hand crafted solid wood piece. I had looked at other much more costly benches and I have to say as it was an experiment for me I was partly motivated by the reasonable price.I don't very often write reviews but for this purchase I just had to. The remittance note which accompanied it was also hand signed off by "Michael". Keep up the great workmanship!

I am quite tall (6'2") and have long legs, so a usual size meditation bench would be too small for me. The seller was very quick at responding to my query about this, and custom made a bench to my measurements, within a short space of time. The bench looks good, is sturdy, and fits my size. I am very pleased with it.

A well made bench beautifully finished. As I am six foot it is a bit small and I am thinking I may have to make my own. I believe it would suit the average woman and a shorter man.

I use this stool to kneel during my quiet prayer time in the morning. It`s great. You get a good product for not much money.

I use this for prayer and meditation, and it also is perfect for lengthy musical instrument practice sessions to keep my posture in good form when not standing. I am considering lowering my entire workspace as this is much more comfortable and better for digestion than sitting in a chair at a desk.

Worked well for a while then got wood worm. So maybe something to do with how the wood is treated/not treated.

Nicht nur für Betende oder Meditierende werden solche Hocker empfohlen, sondern auch für andere, die lange Zeit knien wollen oder müssen. Was durchaus stimmt, ist das die Blutzirkulation nicht so stark beeinträchtigt wird und die Füße nicht so schnell einschlafen. Was die Bank nicht bringt ist eine nennenswerte Entlastung der Knie. Wer bei dieser Haltung also in erster Linie mit schmerzenden Knien Probleme hat, der sollte sich nach einer anderen Lösung umschauen. Für alle anderen halte ich diese Bank vor allem wegen der Zusammenklappbarkeit für sehr praktisch. Zusammengelegt passt sie gut in eine Sporttasche und kann also zu Treffen mitgenommen werden.Aufgeklappt sind die Scharniere steif genug, als das man sich nicht sorgen muss, dass die Beine plötzlich einklappen würden.

Pedí un banquito de altura personalizada porque soy más alto que la media. Me ha llegado en solo seis días, menos de la mitad del tiempo oficial de entrega. Está justo como lo necesitaba y es mucho mas cómodo y estable que apilar zafus para sentarse en seiza. El producto parece de muy buena calidad, sólido y bien acabado. Estoy encantado!!

Il prodotto è ben costruito. Peccato il terribile odore di olio, che spero diminuisca con il tempo, e i lunghi tempi di spedizione, ma questo perché arriva dal Regno Unito.
