Loved it! As good as The Submissive Trilogy!
Great read! I loved the focus on a totally different couple, how they met, & their relationships with others. Would love a sequel to this one about Julie & Daniel! Reading parts of this one, as well as the end of The Enticement, I want a whole separate series about Jeff Park's & Dena's stories-both together, and/or separate! Both this book & The Enticement drop tasty hints about their past relationship(s), & why they are not together now. I sense their story was hot, as well, and we want to know more! I like the way there are several stories about the different couples, & this one also leads us to want to read more/continue with the stories of Cole, as well as Sasha & Peter. Does Sasha come back/stay in the life? Does Peter recover after his punishment? Do they both abandon the life, get back together, find new partners? How about Sasha getting together with Cole-him being the experienced Dom, showing her how an experienced Dom should treat his sub, bringing out her submissive needs, showing her how he can fulfill them, maybe the two of them falling in love? And what about Master Greene? I don't recall reading even his first name, or anything else about him. Would be great to find out more about him, his sub(s?), his life, his age & background? Of course, any and all of these could be their own collection of books/stories, then combine them later to include how they all interact with Nathaniel & Abby, and maybe even with Jackson & Felicia as mutual friends, followed by the children of each all being close friends/growing up together. Please, you've done a great job so far, and we're hooked! Don't stop now!!!! Keep going!!!! More! More!

Exploring Her Desires
Who knew that buying roses could lead to falling in love? Daniel Covington and Julie Masterson had no idea what was in store for them the day he visited her florist shop. After finally admitting that she was intrigued by her best friend's lifestyle, Julie attends a local BDSM group meeting only to find Daniel in attendance. Agreeing to explore her submissive nature with him gives her a feeling ofcompleteness. However, a disturbing event has her questioning her desires which causes him to make a hard choice. It takes a lot of introspection and sage advice from friends to resolve their issues.

Great Series of books
I read this as a part of the Submissive Series by Tara Sue Me. The book brought in a new group of characters and was well written.

She's written better
I devoured TS Me's Submissive trilogy—the characters were lovingly drawn, there was tense plot, hot sex, and thoughtful dialogue. I liked the series so much, I've read it multiple times. Seduced By Fire seems to ride on the coattails of the previous books, rehashing plenty of what was already explored. I was particularly disappointed in the two main characters, both of whom waffled from mature and self-assured to almost whiny or bratty—this is particularly unattractive in the lead female character, Julie, who is an older self-made business woman—and is shown to be an experienced, capable one—yet the more she is exposed to her Dom Daniel, the more uncertain and naive she seems. I certainly understand characters that need to grow, and I certainly accept that characters are more interesting when they are flawed, but in this book, I actually felt like the main characters were taking back seats to Me's focused research on BDSM lifestyles, which felt like the main character to me.Much more interesting were two support characters—Dena and Jeff—who were more fully realized, with more implied individual struggle and redemption than the main characters. I really appreciate Me's agenda that sexual submission can hold a great deal of power (with the right Dom/me), and I feel Dena's character has the potential to convince us of that, should she make a return appearance. I hope these two will get their own book.I consider this book a worthy read, but an unworthy introduction to Me's canny writing; if you are new to her work, start with The Submissive or The Dominant, where you really can't go wrong.

No regrets with this one
Tara has pulled it off again! The story of Daniel and Julie's journey is rich and fraught with all the daily twists and turns of all our lives. Tara's writing is full with all the sloppiness, angst and indecision we all experience. There is also all the joy, happiness and pleasure that we may also face, if we're open and have the strength and determination to seek it. I'm hoping that Tara will go on now to write Dena and Jeff's story as the next book in Partners in Play series. If this is the 1st of Tara's writings you have experienced please pick up her Submissive Trilogy it's super and well worth your time! Nathaniel and Abigail's story is rich and full. I really enjoyed The Dominant, it's from Nathaniel's view point of course ~P~

Burned in a Good Way
This book is GOOD!!! Julie appears to be hard as nails and in control on the outside but on the inside she is yearning for the complete opposite. Her friend and business partner, Sasha, is a submissive. Julie is curious but is afraid to give up control. Julie's craving is explored when she gives in to date her mysterious customer Daniel, who turns out to be a Dominant who knows Sasha within the BDSM community. Sasha, warns her away from him but she cannot resist the attraction between them. Sasha has a horrific experience with her lover which causes Julie to question how she feels about Daniel and her craving to be dominated. This is an excellent follow-up to The Submissive Trilogy!!! 😄

Great book!
This is a simple story, with two regular people. Even though he is still the rich, handsome and smart guy, he is not the tormented soul that tries to hide who he is or something that happened in his past. Just like him, I perceived her like being a very powerful and straight-forward woman. The book is about her journey to discovering and accepting who she really is, with the natural obstacles that might appear on this journey.Just like the Submissive trilogy, this book looks at this lifestyle from the soul's point of view, instead of just a sexual experience. I really enjoyed the book, as it shines a different light over the lifestyle altogether.

Is that it
Although it was a refreshing change that nobody in this book had an abusive past or any other demons nothing happened apart from the supporting cast getting something bad happen to her....her story is probably next... this book was not great but a good enough read

Interesting book
I liked this book but it just seemed too short and the ending rushed and left me feeling I have missed something. Obviously there are more books in the play novels and it would of been nice to get a sample of what is to come but only time will tell.

short seduction
This is a very very short book but the details of the rules of play are good and the characters likable. I would hope there would be a continuation of the story????

Excellent
Good story and plenty of insight on a group into BDSM widening the characters in the group. Look forward to the next book.

Wanted more
I enjoyed this book but feel the end was rushed slightly. I feel there could of been more to the story or things could of been detailed more. Overall not a bad book just wanted more of it
