Theses knives are absolutely razor sharp right out of the box. They are carbon steel knives and not stainless steel so they will be susceptible to rusting. However, because they are carbon steel they will hold an edge much better than stainless. If you’re someone that washes the knives and puts it in the drawer then you will have rusting issues. If you’re someone who appreciates a quality knife and keeps them clean and oiled then buy them. They are a well made quality set. Can’t go wrong for the price.

These knives are great! They are large and heavy duty. They arrived sharp and are easy to use. We loved them so much, we bought a second set as a gift for someone.

1-Star?? Anyone who left a 1-Star review does not understand what they bought. These are NOT stainless steel knives. These are made of steel and need to be treated as such. The inside of the box specifically says the steel knives need to be washed then dried right away then treated with mineral oil, I use cutting board oil which is food safe. The knives are a definate 5-Star. They are super sharp and sturdy. Buy now and do not hesitate.

Knives are very sharp. I am not sure how long they will stay sharp. We will see. Twelve months warranty is nice though.

Wonderful for the bigger guys in the family, nice weight to it and can cut meat like butter. Thick and durable and take a beating like a champ. Will rust if you dont take care of them with knife oil.

I got this for my husband. The quality is good, heavy box, single knife has its good weight. The sharpness is very good, I accidentally cut my finger just by washing off the oil texture on it 😅. It was easy to wash. Sizes are good, all 3 are different style and he really liked that. So far he is enjoying them. Used once, couldn't tell you of it's rust resistance.

Knives have some good weight to them and are pretty good quality. One of the knives was extremely dull but sharpened right up easily with a stone.
