The Godfather Trilogy Piano, Vocal and Guitar Chords

This is a great collection; I wish that it included a little more of Nino Rota's score...I can't picture myself playing the wedding music from Part I very often. But Kay's theme, Michael's theme, the Godfather Part II theme, those are here (among others) - and they're really nicely put together. Would recommend this book if you're a piano player who loves film scores and you're looking to add the Godfather music to your repertoire. There aren't any other books that I could find that come close.

I bought this book to play the Godfather's Waltz. It is a keeper due to the pictures of the Godfather and scenes that are memorable. But... all the pieces in the book none are as beautiful as "Speak Softly, Love".

i had hoped for more music and less photos. while i do love the godfather i had hope to receive the score for the piano music that was being played while clemenza cooks, and a few others. i bought a musical score not a paperback photo book. what do i care if i have wedding pics? i wasn't invited! it's ok, but it more music could have made it better.

I'm sure this item would be great for someone who plays piano, etc. But I just wanted a trilogy of The Godfather to read. I didn't think that it was clear that this was a songbook. Of course my son was disappointed when he received it instead of the books to read.

Why are you even reading this review, buy it already. It's the Godfather, a movie masterpiece! End of sentence.

I was unhappy about this purchase. I must have misread something because I was not trying to buy music. I was in fact unaware that I had not purchased the novel until I received the book in the mail where I noticed it said it was sheet music for piano for the songs in the movie. I was intending to buy the novel.

Having watched the fabulous Godfather trilogy I fell in love with the music, lovely book with beautiful photographs from the films and the fabulous music scores too. I just keep playing them over and over, very happy with my purchase.

Beautiful songbook with greates themes from the three movies. Chords allow to elaborate other types of accompaniments. So happy to have it !

Great book. Love the song selection. As a fan of the movies it's a great feeling being able to play some of the iconic tunes. I especially liked the Godfather II Theme (The Immigrant) and the Godfather Mazurka. Enjoying learning Michael's theme as well. I was still getting lessons when I first bought it which was helpful because I don't think a beginner would necessarily know all the more advanced notations on the sheet music. My main complaint is that the book didn't arrive in mint condition. It wasn't terrible, but it was a bit scuffed up. I requested a replacement, but that ended up being in even worse condition than the first, so I returned that. I liked the music enough to keep a copy though.
