Is anyone using this with a dimplex ecot1ft 40w, 1ft thermostatic tubular heater and if so is it a good fit please?

As far as I'm aware all the tube heaters are a similar diameter, there is clearance room to both sides and above, if your's is a slightly larger diameter. You could mount the shield using wooden battenns for extra clearance. Mine is mounted on battens as it is in the centre of a greenhouse on the floor and can be moved out of the way.

How deep is the guard please, how far out does it protrude from the wall?
