its a necisary evil if you are going to use mi lights, there are other hubs but they be same results at lease its a light too
bah needed it for mi light bulb didnt know mi light is not wifi, they got me i didnt read the description when buying the light bulbs, so basically this thing is wifi and it talks to mi light on the 2.4ghz of mi light which is also 2.4 but not wifi, following me still ? with stuff like this where 2.4 communication of different protocols but same frequency you are going to have problems, basically sometimes it works sometime it doenst, luckily it works more often than not, if not kick it, or unplug it to reboot, both works, kicking it will limit it lifespan and most likely void all warranty.

Works with Vonn Lighting Vision series chandelier
Milight 3.0 Android app set up and worked easily to control my Vonn Lighting Vision series tunable white 3 ring Tania Trio LED chandelier. (Much lower price than the equivalent Vonn rebranded Wifi hub controller, btw.) Also seems to work with various Milight/Limitless LED apps (Windows, Android, iOS, JavaScript, etc.) aimed at Alexa integration. Still trying to figure out how to interface it with Google Home, though.
