Good for making bread dough! Works with our Cuisinart 5.5 quart mixer. Cleans easy and is a good value for the money.

I purchased this item to replace my original paddle attachment and it works perfectly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great paddle attachment.

The part of the blade that attaches to the machine attaches as one would expect, but the blade ends up sitting well over an inch above the bottom of the bowl, making it unusable. The blade on the right in the photo came with the machine and the one on the left is the one that I purchased separately on Amazon.

I want to say I am very pleased so far with these beaters. They are so well made. I was concerned about them being too heavy for my Cuisinart Series SM-50 and would be better suited for the KA bowl lift mixers. However I baked bread 4 times and kneaded for up 8-10 minutes. My mixer head did get warm the first time. Now I just pause a bit, fold the dough occasionally, and it’s been the best so far. I have had perfect bread dough. I have not tried the flat beater yet. I am general a seasonal baker, holidays but bake bread more often. However after 4 years of using this mixer, look at original beater with the red check mark closely as after being a seasonal baker?? Who wants gray paint in their food regardless if it is food safe paint…goodness!! Glad I found a good steel set that will probably outlast the mixer.

This is so much better than the original hook that came with the mixer. It fits perfectly and takes less time to mix up the dough. Very satisfied.

The media could not be loaded. This spiral hook kneads bread dough much more effectively than the hook that came with my Cuisinart stand mixer.It's heavier than the original dough hook, but the machine has not had any issue with the additional weight.

This is the 2nd dough hook I ordered. Ordered 1st one knowing it was for kitchen aide stand mixer 5.8 inches. While waiting for delivery found out a dough hook was available for MY cuisinart 5.5 qt stand mixer. 6 inches ( For some reason it is difficult to find accessories for cuisinart.) So I ordered this one. Oddly enough when I received it it was identical to the first. 5.8 ". I bake alot. Thought about it and decided to try, if it kneads like is supposed to and gluten developed properly it will pull the dough up and away from the sides of the bowl. OMG, instead of pulling the dough up and wrapping around the dough hook (included with my machine) it pushed the dough down folding it into itself, pulling up from the bottom and away from the sides as gluten developed. The Dough turned out amazing. It felt better than ever. Rose so well I made an amazing loaf of Italian bread with sesame seeds on top. So good my family ate about half while still warm. I make dough every week for pizza and bread. This dough was the best so far. Sorry for being so long winded but bakers will understand. Highly recommend. Works on both Kitchenaid and Cuisinart. Rated 3 stars due to having to order twice and getting same thing both times. Would rate five stars on performance.

It’s even better than the original part that came with the food processor. Very strong, doing well the mixing. So happy with my purchase.

I bought this because after using my previous Cuisinart (an SM-55 that I loved for a decade, till it died) I was so upset after replacing with my current SM-50, I felt like I had wasted my money on an inferior product. The C-shaped dough hook just held the dough and spun it around, or it climbed up it. This spiral hook is SOLID, perfect shape, fits great, and the second I put it in, it brought the dough together (I didn't have to combine it together by hand first, as I had to with the C hook), kneads to an elastic windowpane dough in no time. I could not be happier with this purchase, better than my SM-55 hook.
