Haven't been able to find Knorr mushroom rice in local stores for over a year. Was happy to find it on Amazon. This rice is the perfect sidedish for steaks. I highly recommend it. It's so easy too!

They stopped selling this rice in our local grocery stores, so when I found it online I was super excited. This is my husband's favorite rice! He was so giddy when I gifted him three bags haha.

Nice to have on hand for nights I am feeling less than imaginative for dinner. The mushroom flavor was a bit too mild for me - added salt and spices to increase the flavor. Easy to make along with the rest of our dinner.Knorr is a familiar brand and these packets in store are quite a bit more affordable.The swivel spoon for measurement is nice, but since most people already have measuring spoons, it's bit unnecessary. Regardless of the brand, we've almost always kept a dozen or so packets of quick cooking rice and vermicelli packets in our pantry as an on-the-spot meal supplement for those nights when no one feels like going that extra mile for a side dish. Once you've cooked it once, it's not hard to understand why.Packets like this one by Knorr are so easy to cook and they have so much flavor that it's basically one step up from Easy Mac in terms of simplicity. Just toss in a little bit of butter with water and one of these packets into a pan, stir and then cover for the cook time as directed and you end up with a nice big skillet of tasty rice.They're somehow easier and faster than cooking plain ordinary rice thanks to the use of a shallow skillet that helps bring the small amount of water involved to boil a bit faster, and the seasoning from the pouch means you don't need to worry about salting it properly at the end.It's just easy.Mix in some veggies (like in our picture) or pre-cooked chicken and the already tasty packet stretches into additional servings with minimal effort.This is one of the easiest dinner quick-fixes you can find, and Knorr is a pretty well-known brand in rice and has their "Mushroom" flavor well mastered.***So Easy a Kid Can Do It***It's easy enough that any kid already of an age that you trust them to make stovetop Mac & Cheese could make this just as easily. Easier, even, since there's no milk required (just a comparable amount of butter) and all they have to do is stir every few minutes to move the rice around to prevent any burning (which is a low risk if you have the heat turned down to medium).***Overall Value***Knorr rice and vermicelli packets are not typically pricy so as long as this 3-pack doesn't ask for more than $2 per packet (at time of review) with a slight upsell value for the included branded tablespoon and teaspoons, it's right on the money and comparable to similar Knorr or other vermicelli & rice packet makers.

Was supposed to be a set of 12 packages. Only one single package was shipped for $36 & no way to fix the issue

These Knorr Rice Sides come in a pack of three, bundled together with a "swivel spoon" which is basically a set of measuring spoons that swivel open from the handle. I got the Mushroom flavor. I prepared it on the stovetop using the easy instructions on the package. It came out fine. The rice was a nice, firm texture. The flavor was a little bland though. It had a very mild mushroom flavor. It could have used more salt and/or spices. I would not buy it again. I thought the price was a bit high too.
