Great steel tape
I've had many of these Stanley steel tapes before. I always seem to leave them somewhere or lose them. I always replace them with the same ones. They work great, and are very sturdy and well made.

Best 12' tape out there
There are a thousand measuring tapes for sale. The Stanley 12' is perfect for professional and around the house use. It is all metal and the retract spring has the right amount of tension. The belt clip isn't really necessary but here is the best part. The case is exactly 2" long making measuring into a blind corner easy and accurate. Push the tape into the corner, read the tape and add 2"..Done.

It's all metal
Had a previous Stanley 25 ft 1 in tape for a boat 10 years and finally it got a little crack and then it broke in the tape, it was plastic so this time I ordered what looked like metal and it was so very happy
