The quality is good and very useful both when sewing to control the material and also when making patterns for dart manipulation.

Exceeded expectations. I was lucky to get this at a competitive price, but frankly I don't know how I've managed without it. Does the job (expanding holes without breaking threads/ fibre) in half the time of a standard awl plus makeshift methods of enlargement. As the awl is perfectly round, it's also a more consistently round hole than what I'd been making. I'd read thisprior to purchase, but it is true, that the design of the handle is ideal. Rather than being round, it is a slightly squashed oval, making it easy to grip in your hand and keep the tool under control. It's easy to go just a little bit at a time, to keep checking the size you are making.

Wowzers this is amazing so very sharp and as its tapered makes the sized hole of your choice. Deffo would recommend

Needed one that had a larger maximum width, and this one works great!

Does exactly as it says on the tin. I used this awl on thick, heavy military wool to insert stud bases and it was quick and easy to use

These tapered awls are not as sharp as the straight ones and are therefore perfect for easing fabric through my sewing machine without causing a hole. They are also a great, shorter length with a comfortable grip.

Great product, I use these to help fit sheet metal segments. Not there intended purpose but work and absolute treat
