Panasonic ES-WS14 Compact Epilator for Women

Wow! V happy - so glad I didn’t spend more! Bought as waxing salons shut during lockdown. As used to waxing not painful for me as hairs are now fine & don’t put up much of a fight! More slightly unpleasant tingling than pain. Great to have smooth legs again, will save me a fortune long-term!! Well designed, easy to use 😄

Painless and easy to use

Easy to use, would be good for a first time epilator. I had hoped it would be cordless and therefor a bit more portable but it's not. Dry use only. Great value for money, I use it once a week to touch up my legs

Thought I'd try this while salons are closed and I can't get my regular wax done.It struggled to pick up leg hairs and did Ok on bikini but you have to go over it so many times and even then it leaves hairs behind.Pain wise I personally think it hurts more than waxing, you can feel the individual hairs pulling out. Ouch.Gave it a go but gave up fairly quickly as I realised I wasn't going to get good results.Maybe it was me as I'd never epilated before, but I probably won't bother using it again.

I bought this because reviews mention using with gel - this is NOT the case, it is dry use only. However, it's far superior to my old one, doesn't leave stubble and is far less painful than my previous model, in fact hardly any pain!

Beautiful little epilator. Great value for the money. Had many others over the years that were more money, but this one is just as good. Highly recommend x

For starters I was disappointed that you can only use this product while it's plugged in. It does not "charge & go" as the Q&As suggest. This is clear in the product instructions in the box but I can't see anywhere on the item listing on Amazon that tells you this. Half the people writing answers for the Q&As are clearly talking about a different product. This is an inconvenience because I would have liked to use it in the bathroom but obviously no sockets in there.However the main problem is that it just doesn't work. I've tried 4 times now to do my lower legs and you would never know I'd bothered. Lucky for me I'm not that hairy so maybe the problem is that my hairs are too fine? But that doesn't help me. I have tried with both heads and at both speeds and all combinations are equally ineffective. £25 down the drain and back to the wax strips for me.

Cant go back to shaving my legs after using this, easy to use, lights up which helps to find any missed hairs.
