If you have back issues, you’ll want this! After a recent injury, I was trying to figure out how to manage discomfort on a really long plane ride. I needed something that was portable, yet supportive and functional. This was perfect. It’s “fairly compact” when the air is released and can fit into a backpack. It inflates really nicely on its own when you open the valve, but if you want it to inflate more quickly or if you want it inflated to the max, you can simply blow air into it. This saved me on my long flight and was perfectly supportive for my back. One note: the photos imply this comes with a cover/case but it does not. Instead it came with a strap to hold it in its compact state for travel.

The product is great as a back support. It inflates fairly easily although for me it was a little slow so I would always add air. It is heavier than most products because of the filling used, but we just had a six hour flight and it was extremely helpful in making our seat comfortable. You can wear it around your waist if you would prefer not to have the weight in your carry-on bag.

Works great for my lower back on plane flights! Needs little to no inflation for my back. Inflated it could be a small pillow if needed (I hope I never get stranded in an airport).

Really high-quality materials: soft and plush even without expanding. The only critique I have is that people in "normal" sized bodies will definitely require the strap extender - the strap seems better suited to go around a chair than a body.

The inflatable support is actually very comfortable. I can blow air in and take out to adjust how stiff the lumbar back should feel. I use this to tie against myself so the support can go with me wherever I choose to sit. However, the straps designed for this item only fit a certain waist length. If your waist circumference is too small or too large then it will not fit to strap onto stomach area. I had to manually sew the extension strap to shorten the strap in order to fit my waist. The other issue is the material of the straps itself. They are made with elastics, which will loosen up overtime from stretching. The elastic also doesn’t feel very firm and may snap and rip if overstretched too much. If the company redesigns this with a larger range adjustable waist circumference and change the fabric material to a nonstretch fabric then this would be a 5 star.

I use this pillow for lower back short while sitting. It really helps. It’s easy to pack in my carry-on and pull out for long flights. And it’s also a good fit for just sitting on the couch to watch tv.

This lumbar support pillow is very comfortable. One of the things I like about it the most was that I can inflate it or deflate it depending upon which chair I'm sitting in. If I need more support, I inflate it. Less support, I deflated. I would definitely recommend this pillow and I would buy it again.
