Hair Clipper Series 5 HC5310, Men's Hair Clipper with 9 Length Settings

I am follicly challenged, but still need to tidy up my surviving hair from time to time. Not worth paying a barber £20 plus to trim what’s left, so years ago invested in a Braun rechargeable set of clippers which served me well until after 18 years they died of old age. These are the modern equivalent and are lighter, hold a charge longer and work pretty well. I’m still no Tony Curtis ( ask an old person) , more a would be Yul Brinner ( ask them again). Overall very happy with these quality trimmers.

Came ready/fully charged, two pin socket so be aware of need for adaptor to charge...easy to use, good instructions for use.. NEW! The clippers refused to charge ( bought in April, now end of July) no green light and didn't hold any charge. After contacting Braun under guarantee, they paid to return the clippers to their return center, sent a link to allow me to see the progress of the "repair" and finally sent me a new set in the post. All in under 10 days from start to finish. Amazon sent me a link to report the outcome but it expires before I could give this update. Excellent service from Braun, what more can I say.

I replaced my covid bought clippers as they were not of great quality, or a well known brand, so I bought these as they were half price and now I know why. The single adjustable grading guide is a great idea, but it fails. Standard grading guides have their fins up to where the cutting blade is, this doesn't. The blade guide is set at its shortest point which means that when you have a higher grade setting, say 18mm, the hair doesn't consistently hit the blade, leaving you with some long bits and some short. It takes so much longer with this than a conventional guide system. Disappointed so bought what I should have done in the first place, a well known clipper brand with the conventional guides. Don't waste your money.

For a fall back amateur barber, this Braun is a helpful aid. During Covid when we weren't allowed to do anything/go anywhere I had to cut my husband's hair, and I did it with a pair of sharp nail scissors. Now that I have to do again because he is unwell and cannot get to the hairdresser, I am back in the same boat .....but this pair of clippers has taken all the anxiety out of cutting his hair. It is very easy to use, easy to clean and holds a good charge. Most important of all, it keeps him looking good.

Easily gets riid of body hair. Used on my chest and face and worked really well, and is waterproof so can use I the shower. Excellent product.

I purchased this basically to cut my hair at home, not for working, and it cuts great the hair, it doesn't feel a cheap clipper, it looks professional. The best is the price, cannot find any other good deal in the market.
