They say if you want to improve your game get a better light. This is absolutely true. This light is very powerful and a game changer. Would highly recommend it. The app is easy and great to manage and you can save pre sets to male things easier .

Great little light that packs a punch

This is a great quality light from Aputure.Really compact and ideal for using with a Bowens mount lantern softbox as an overhead.The light comes with a battery plate with a V plate that can be clipped onto the side of the light.The light this gives out is punchy and really bright, with no diffusion it's a decent spot.Gives a really nice light out when diffused.The fan is really quiet and kicks in pretty much straight away.Works well under battery power with a great output.Easy enough to control and set up and the Aputure Sidus app and lets you change things much more easily than the single knob on the back of the light but you may want to read over the companies data policy.All of the items that come with the light are really well made from good materials and feel and look premium.Aputure have a good name in video and photo lighting and this light doesn't change that.Really good continuous light source for any video or photo shoot.

With a quick one-second battery setup (battery not included), I can power the Amaran 60x S effortlessly. Moreover, when fitted with the optional Amaran handheld, I can even add a nice light supplement while on the move, further enhancing the versatility of this light.The Universal Accessory Mount compatible with Bowens Mount soft light modifiers (maximum load ≤ 2.5kg) expands the creative possibilities. I can easily attach various light modifiers such as the Aputure Light Box 4545, Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Lantern, allowing me to achieve different lighting effects effortlessly.The wireless control via the Sidus Link App from Aputure is a game-changer. I can conveniently adjust lighting parameters and customize multiple scene presets. The fan itself is well made but be aware it has a plastic body, this fan is pretty noisy I was under the impression that something had been done about this on the s version it has not. If your plans are to use this as a portable solution by a case because you will struggle to get anything back into the case they provide. The product itself provides good lighting and works with the app which is great but if you are shooting talking heads or camera is going to be positioned close to the light be aware this is not a quiet light by any means

The light is amazing overall but the DC power supply does not work with my light. The battery plate works fine so there appears to be an issue with my unit. Will update after contact with manufacturer.
