Beautiful Mold
The peony mold is pretty. I bought it to make candles. Made one yesterday, came out of the mold easily, but it only burned for 20 minutes. I can't imagine anyone buying these to burn, just look pretty on a table.

Gorgeous
This is a beautiful mold. I’m using this for candles, and haven’t had any problems unmolding them. (I use mostly beeswax, plus some soy, so they are pretty firm.) Around 30 minutes after pouring the candle, when the wax looks solid, I very gently pull the edge away. I use one finger, and work my way around the mold while keeping it flat; it helps to loosen the mold from the candle while the wax is semi-firm. I wait several hours to fully unmold them.It is true the mold doesn’t come with instructions, but there is a video in the picture area that is quite helpful, plus written instructions if you scroll down a ways to read about the product. It recommends using 1:1 soy and beeswax, and explains how to wick them. I had a problem wicking the first candle I made because the pointy end of the bamboo is too narrow to pass a wick thru. I cut off the pointy tip and was able to pass a wick without any issue.I haven’t actually burned the candles yet because I need to make a lot to determine the proper wick to use; to me, the hardest part of making beeswax candles is getting the wick right.

Beautiful Detail!!!
This was my very first attempt with the mold! I put a very tiny whole in the base and fed a waxed wick through the center. I sealed it with some tape and it came out beautifully!!!

Beautiful Mold!
Used this to make soap and the final result looks just like the advertised picture! First try I had some difficulty and some of the top delicate soap petals broke off during mold removal. I recommend pouring the soap and letting it set in the freezer, when solid stretch out the mold as much as possible upside down to gently remove!

Makes Detailed Peony Flowers
I use the mold to make candles with, you will need to let it set for 24 hours and then place the mold in the freezer so it will help unmold, if not you will break the delicate thinner petals while pulling it out. (Some people dir the mold in boiling water for a second to melt the wax a little to pull it out, but I have not tried it.) I have poked a hole in the bottom of the mold to pull the wick through and no leaks, just don't go crazy about the size, mine is like a little flap that closes back up, I just used some thin tweezers.
