Classic lego quality
I will admit I'm not a fan of the Friend theme of lego because I don't like the style of the mini-figures shouldn't be different from the classics they remind me more of poll pocket dolls.Easy build for kids to so because of the easy to follow instructions.Bright colourful build and has good playability.

Great Lego Friends Set
The Lego Friends series is one of my daughter's favourites and she absolutely loved building this one. This set is themed around a News/reporters van and crew who apparently are reporting about a tree being cut down that houses an owl.The set comes with the usual numbered bags of bricks and an easy to follow build manual to build the van and tree set up with many accessories including 3 figures and an owl. The accessories for the figures include things like a chainsaw, a news camera, a protest placard and an owls egg. The back of the van even opens up to double up as a TV News broadcast room. The set is the usual Lego quality we've come to expect and every thing is really well thought out and the attention to detail is outstanding. Lego sets are usually a little on the expensive side, however this set isn't too badly priced at £19.99 at the time of review. For the quality, building experience and hours of fun it provides for my daughter, I highly recommend this Lego Friends set.

Reporting Live From The Scene... An Excellent Lego Friends Set
I got this for my 7 year old daughter and it's an awesome set, that I actually think is very fairly priced. It has also appealed to her older sister (10 yrs) as it combines both their interests - animals, the environment and being a news reporter. It's as if Lego knew....The brick quality and instructions are excellent and the build was fun and I think judged about right for the 6+ recommended rating. I love the fact the news van can be "transformed" into a broadcast studio complete with news desk. You do get three minifigures (plus the owl), included so if this is your first ever set, you have the characters to play with straight away so are not left wanting. If I had one note it's that the owl's tree is rather barren and could have done with a few more branches or maybe a bit more height. As it is, it looks like Darrel has had a good go at it already with the chainsaw. So this then, is another excellent Lego Friends set and that can only be good news.

Good quality set , not too difficult as well
So this is a nice little set for kids with a few figures inside of it. It is not most big set really as it has just 466 pieces which is not a lot. It's not the most complicated as well and is assembled quite easily too. The tree bit has a few small bits and a van built as well will require a bit of help from grown-ups as it can be a little bit complicated if kids are smaller. But as always lego provides really good instructions which are very easy to understand. What I liked about this set is the van and you get rather few figures too which are quite nice. Plus the van can be opened up and it creates a little portable newsroom which is quite cool.Overall it's a rather good set for the price. Gives a bit of challenge for the kid while building and offers good quality story and figures. So I really did enjoy building it with my nephew.

Lego Friends News Van
Lego News van from the friends collection of lego series this set consists of 446 pieces and overall it's a blast to assemble although it may be slightly tricky at first for younger kids but I'd say if they use the APP alongside with building it will make the experience easier for them todo so.The whole set although belonging to the Friends series could easily be incorporated into the Lego City series as well with that in mind of it just being what it says a news van, you will get 3 Characters included in the set although with little accessories to go with them, so of these pieces are small so I would say to supervise while kids build this. It's a nice little set that firstly will keep the kids occupied building and then while they play or destroy and rebuild and I would recommend this quite easily.
