The electircal fire I heard alot of people saying dimplex are one of the best , it doesn't warm house up at all.

The media could not be loaded.  Due to its slim size and being very lightweight this is a easy fit almost everywhere,so you don’t need a dedicated fitting place.Well made with great control options (remote or buttons) robust glass screen protection that looks great and a very realistic fire light in different colours.Beautiful design it’s combined with energy efficiency and excellent quality build and can be a luxurious and odourless option to a combustion one.It doesn’t require any additional mounting racks or a special shelf,it is completely fire safe with all the certifications and warranties.Must be seen to realise how great it looks and how realistic is the effect.Good value for money compared to the alternative options.

The media could not be loaded.  I love the combination of a traditional flame effect with the LED lit "ice" blocks. By changing the colour and settings you can go from a fairly traditional look to something more modern, which is brilliant for changing the mood. It's enough of an effect and bright enough to be a focal point in the room without going over the top. I think it's a great twist on the old fake coal/log look. Style wise the case would probably look ok in most settings but the effect itself obviously lends itself best to a more modern style of room. You get two different sizes of "ice" blocks, which together fill the space available well, but I would have liked a few more of the larger size (but I'm just being picky really).Installation was surprisingly easy. Basically it just hangs on a couple of screws. Although you can install it directly on a wall it will look best if it's recessed into the wall or a surround that's built around it. The size and shape of it would make it perfect for mounting underneath a wall mounted TV.The heater part does what you'd expect. It's not the most powerful heater I've ever seen but it does do a good job and it's nice and quiet even on full power. It won't disturb you while watching TV. It's a bit hard to tell how effective it is at heating the room as it's summer at the moment but it definitely puts out a nice warm breeze so I think it'll be effective. It's good to see that (unlike most electric fan heaters) it's controlled by a thermostat so it'll maintain a constant temperature without having to adjust it manually.The remote control is a bit on the basic side. It's one of those credit card sized ones (but thicker) with little bubble style buttons. It works fine but I'm not sure how long it will last and I'd have preferred something a bit more robust feeling. As I say though, it does work OK. You can also control it with some manual buttons hidden at the top right hand side of the fire itself.Overall I'm really pleased with it and I think it looks great.

The media could not be loaded.  I was hoping to have this installed before my review but still waiting for my fitterI tested this all assembled (free standing) and was amazed with its features, looks and performance.The crystal like stones look really well in the dark using the Flame light as well as the Lighting RGB effects. Its great how you can control all the features from the remote. The thermostatic control did maintain a steady warm temperature as well as a nice cool air flow when we set it to the low setting. Love how this can also be suface mounted or fully recessed.Great Brand and great looking fire.

I would like to show you how it looks on my wall but have failed to upload a review with a photograph three times now, so I will do my very best with words.First of all, this is a very impressive piece of kit. It arrived incredibly well packaged and there was no damage to anything.On first inspection, this looks, and feels, more expensive than it actually is (I know it's still 'up there').As my husband is a qualified electrician, we had no issues installing this into our lounge but you really should get a qualified person in to do the installing just to be safe.As we have no fireplace in the lounge, we opted to put it in the wall in there. As you can choose to have it inset or directly on the wall (great feature), we opted for the latter as we don't have a natural inset.It looks and works absolutely stunningly. The remote is responsive and the different effects are magical.Obviously we're in the middle of a heatwave and start of summer so this won't come into its full effect until autumn is here but it looks fantastic once daylight has gone.This is a luxurious-feeling item and one that we really appreciate having in our home.

Without a doubt, this is a real statement piece. It’s elegant, contemporary, functional and really exciting to watch. Who knew a flame effect fire would be such a talking point!Dimplex us a long established brand and it’s one that I feel confident with. There’s quite an investment in this fire in terms of cost, but it’s backed up by Dimplex support if needed. From past experience, their customer service is excellent. I like the fact that this can be set up as an inset or wall mounted fire. Inset is superb, but wall mounted is still very impressive. The effects are controlled by a remote control handset and I guarantee when first set up, the fire will be the entertainment fir the evening. The colours and flame effects are mesmerising and as it can be set up without heat, it can provide a decorative piece of living art too. The surround is metal, the glass is cool touch and the whole unit shouts quality.It’s supplied with a three pin UK plug, so there’s no need for expensive electrical installation, but if desired, it can be hard wired. Cant fault this. Absolutely superb.
