Works great!

I love this edger, I attached it to a Kobalt 24V trimmer with detachable head. It took me a minute to remember how to use an edger with a steel blade after I have been using a string edger for the last five years. The weight is liter than the battery/motor pack. The design and functionality is amazing, I love the adjustability of the depth control system. This thing is super easy to use, loosened one bolt, slide on the attachment align the silver push button and tighten the one bolt by hand and go to work. The durability is yet to be determined, it well made. I like that the right side is open faced which means less chance of clogging up the blade. I am very happy with this purchase and I believe it is a great value for the money

My old edger died after 30 years of use.I priced some new edgers but their prices were through the roof.I read a lot of reviews on this attachment and said for the price I can’t go wrong.This edger attachment fit perfectly on my ryobi weed eater.Edged around my pool and both sides of my driveway in no time at all.If this last a couple years it is definitely worth the money.

This is not compatible with stihl! The head is not square. It has a spline. The shaft that comes with it is 2 ft long and there is no go between coupler. Even if there was The shaft would be way too long. If you use the 2 ft shaft that comes with it then your head's down right by the cutting blade which is also unacceptable. I don't know how this POS even got out of research and development. Don't waste your money it won't work.

Product value compared to name brands not to bad so for. Not sure I'd use it for contract work, but great for homeowner use. Engine seems to have an odd burning smell, but performs good (yes I have the correct oil/gas mix ratio which is 50:1). This is very similar to the Stihl models, aluminum shaft tubing on the attachments appear to be slightly thinner than Stihl, but they perform fine. So far it's been a great value for all the attachments you get in the kit. Definitely like the angle capability of the hedge trimmer and ease of changing out the attachments. Chain saw blade did dull fairly quick, but expected that based on it's size. Jury still out on longevity.

when my POS Troy Built edger finally quit working, I was looking for an affordable replacement. Everything was anywhere from $150-$600! Even attachments were outrageous. Then I found this! It's all metal and easy to use. The only thing I had to do was install a female adapter to the end of the flex shaft. I had an old "Troy Built" (see a pattern?) weed whacker that didn't work, so I sawed off the flex shaft coupler, punched out the flex shaft stub from the coupler, inserted it onto the Badger flex shaft, smacked it with a ball peen hammer to crimp it, and it works great! I have a corner 1/2 acre lot with sidewalks, so I have a lot of edging. This thing works better than anything I've ever used. There's some minor assembly required, which ANYONE who knows what a screw driver is, can do, and I also packed some wheel bearing grease in the housing and the flex shaft tube.

Quality & stability lacks. Shaky operation. Tends to wobble for crooked results. Durable, yes. Lightweight, yes. Easy fit to connect/disconnect, yes. Blade change can be easy, but unit must be snugly re-tightened for blade to correctly rotate in the one direction needed. Easy to clean but often compacts clay in curvature. Longevity is questionable, at best.

Difficult to control the depth without a proper edging board on the lawn. Stones get thrown onto the lawn.
