WOLF-Garten Ambition A370E 37cm 1600w Electric Push Lawn Mower

Have had and used this mower for two seasons now. Quite a bit more expensive than more popular brands but far better designed and manufactured. I have not found any problems and it has operated efficiently without fail. The blade, for example, is made from better steel than others I have had and keeps it’s edge longer. Folds conveniently. A very satisfactory purchase.

My 16 year old Wolf mower gave up the ghost, so I ordered the very similar but updated model. I am pretty confident that it will be as good and reliable as its predecessor. I have knocked off one star because I found it a bit difficult to assemble - and I take my hat off the the reviewer that did it in ten minutes. I found the instructions difficult to follow and the illustrations are so tiny as to be pretty well useless. I was reduced to going back to the computer and looking at the photographs in the product description to see what the final result should look like. This in particular refers to the very clever quick-release devices on the handle. I could make no sense of the little sketches, but the product description photos were great help. I also found it very difficult to push the plastic tubes over the rods, to make the grass box, but this could be because my 87 year old hands are not what they were! But it works well. I hope it lasts as long as the previous one - and that I can still use it at the age of 103!

I chose the A370E as I have a good sized lawn and cut width is important to me. The mower is well made and the assembly instructions were perfect - it took around 10 minutes from start to finish. I've used it 3 times so far, lowering the blade each time, and it does the job perfectly. Grass collection is good as is capacity of the bag.

Great mower but mine was a returned item and did not have the lead with it. Not a major problem. Mower works really well with no maintenance apart from a wipe down after use. Good mower would recommend it.

The lawnmower is really good and was delivered really quick but the instructions to assemble it could be made a lot better!

Although it was stated in the product information, this lawnmower does not come with a power cable. As I didn't receive satisfactory responses to my attempts to get answers and a service, I returned the lawnmower.

3 stars, not because of performance but because it just isn't clear enough that no cable is included, and you'll need a slightly non-standard version. I opted to get a genuine 20m cable at an additional cost of ~£30. I'm not particularly annoyed at the extra cost (altho it seems high). I *am* annoyed that my window of opportunity to get going with it has evaporated because I can't plug the bloody thing in out if the box. On the plus side, assembly was easy and the mower itself seems sturdy but light. Delivery was on time and to the door, full marks there. My responsibility to check other reviews, but that doesn't excuse this being left out of the description. After some use, a bump up to 4* - good results and far easier to use than the petrol equivalent.

It is German so it is made really well. It mowed the lawn like a lawn mowing machine. Little on the heavy side, but hey who isn’t. All in all this is an excellent lawn hoover

Sehr skeptisch stand ich dem Kauf, auch wegen der Rezensionen hier, gegenüber. Als Ersatz für den sehr alten Wolf Carrera 42 E war ich zunächst nicht markengebunden. Unterm Strich blieb nach Durchstöbern mehrerer Tests in der Preisklasse nur die Frage offen, ob BOSCH oder WOLF. Da der BOSCH meines Nachbarn sehr laut ist und der alte WOLF übelst alt geworden ist, wurde es nun der A 370 E. ZUSAMMENBAU: Die Kritik dazu kann ich absolut nicht bestätigen, jedoch habe ich schon so einiges des schwedischen Möbelhauses mit 4 Buchstaben zusammen gebaut und bin vielelicht was abgehärtet. Ich habe jedenfalls etwa 10 Minuten gebraucht und empfehle, den Text nicht zu lesen, sondern die Bilder zu nutzen. QUALITÄTSEINDRUCK: Ganz sicher wird wohl dieser WOLF keine 20-30 Jahre halten. Der Kunststoff ist spürbar dünner, leichter und weicher, wie mein alter Koloss. Die Höhenverstellung, das Fahrwerk usw. scheint alles aus Metall zu sein und ist sehr leicht zu bedienen und macht einen stabilen Eindruck, hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Höhenverstellung ist sehr leichtgängig und rastet super ein, verstellt sich auch nicht, auch sehr gut. Etwas fummelig wirkt zunächst der Fangsack, jedoch ist da das Gestell auch aus festem Metall. Etwas skeptisch dem Fangsack gegenüber, erweist er sich in der Praxis als deutlich besser, wie die starren Körbe. Mähgut kann man super und sauber über der Biotonne ausschütteln, Klopfen, es bleibt nichts kleben. Es kann also nun gemäht werden: Der Mäher ist keineswegs zu laut, er surrt und kreischt nicht, wie der Bosch meines Nachbarn. Leise ist er nicht, aber leiser, wie der alte auf jeden Fall. Ich fand es in Ordnung und nicht störend. Das Schnittergebnis ist tadellos und die Leistung mehr als auchreichend, auch bei strammem Schritt hat er nicht gemuckt. Geradezu begeistert bin ich von der Saugleistung, das hätte ich nicht erwartet!!! Note 1+ Der Mäher ist sehr leicht und angenehm zu handeln, der volle Fangsack konnte ihn nicht zum Kippen bringen, hier hat man im Labor wohl mit der Waage das Teil gebaut, Note 1 Durch den im forderen Bereich ausgesparten Teil des Schneidgehäuses kann man wunder bar kleine Ecken, bei mir Holzbalken der Überdachung sowie Laternen umfahren und braucht keinen Kantenschneider mehr, die hohe Saugleistung zieht es auch sofort weg, genial! Wirklich richtig angenehm ist die patentierte Kabelführung, man muss sich nur darangewöhnen, sich jetzt nicht mehr um das Kabel kümmern zu müssen, sehr schön! Der Griff, der Sicherheitsschalter wirken sehr hochwertig und fest, alles aus Metall und sehr stabil. Die Mulchfunktion habe ich noch nicht und werde ich wohl auch nicht nutzen, wenn doch, dann kommt die Bewertung nach. Also in der Summe für so kleines Geld ein sehr schöner Mäher. Er macht nicht den qualitativen Eindruck meines alten Carrera 42 E, aber wir reden hier von 167,99€ abzüglich Steuer, Transport, was bleibt da noch? Der alte Wolf hat vor mehreren Jahrzenten 599 DM gekostet, was dann heute wohl 599€ entspricht. Von daher in dieser Preisklasse mit 5 Sternen gerechtfertigt. Wer einen hoch qualitven Mäher sucht, schaut sich jedoch besser in der Premiumklasse von Wolf oder bei Viking um.

Excellent mower for big Lawns. Purchased it at approx 80% discount. It is double the value for money spent. Effortless, Light weight, easily manoeuvrable. Excellent mowing experience. Quality of mowing is much superior to manual machines. Overall quality of machine is good. Can be easily used by women also.

Maaier is makkelijk te bedienen. Maait heel mooi
