Used this to rewrap a waterlogged telescope. The glue may be iffy until set, but, there is masking tape included.

I thought this item to wrap an exposed part of the handle bars on my TT Bike. It was bought purely for comfort and because the price was very reasonable. So far I haven’t had any major issues and I’ve done 41 hours of cycling , using the wrapped sections regularly. They aren’t too coarse on the hands and they wick the sweat away sufficiently so you still have grip.

The rubber is a decent closed-cell foam which is soft and slightly yielding under pressure so provides a good cushioned grip.I have a hybrid cycle with long, sweeping handlebars which wrap back on themselves so usually are a pain to get covered but the length of the wrap was ideal for them, using a whole length each side.I needed to ensure that the end was fully wrapped with some electrical tape to prevent them unravelling but only needed this on the open end.Overall impressed by the grip and cushioning, time will tell how long it stands up to weather or being knocked which is the usual cause of death on my previous foam grips.
