2nd pair purchased and very happy
My daughter is a club soccer goalkeeper and Renegades are her favorite brand of gloves. She has worn Adidas and Puma gloves in the past and I previously bought her a pair of the Renegade Triton Specter's and she fell in love with those gloves. Her club plays in California so a lot of fields here are artificial turf due to lack of rain so the Triton's were our choice due to the Super Grip latex for hard surfaces. She used those gloves from the beginning of July thru the end of October which fits in with the 3 to 4 month life expectancy on the latex combined with hard use. Those gloves handled 4 to 5 practices a week and 1 to 2 games a weekend so I was very happy with how they held up. They just began to show their wear on the palms and have now been relegated to practice only gloves. I had planned on buying another pair of the Triton's but they were unavailable for a couple of weeks in her size so I decided to buy her the Talon's to compare. The gloves are beautiful and the Hyper Grip latex on the palms and fingers are really nice and felt nice and tacky once we submerged the gloves in warm water and hung them to dry. Build quality is extremely nice as I previously noted on my Triton review. Nice double wrap on the thumbs, the fingersave system is nice, and the option to remove them is always a plus. My daughter always removes the thumb saves as she prefers to play without them for grip. She is partial to the roll cut as she likes to have a lot of latex contact with the ball. We may try out the roll hybrid on the next purchase to compare. She played 2 games over last weekend with the gloves and really enjoyed them as always. We always make sure to wash the gloves at least every other week in lukewarm water and dish soap and dry them out after every practice. She also lightly wets the latex with every use and makes sure not have the latex come in contact with grass/turf. Following those steps, these gloves should easily last the recommended life expectancy. So to wrap up, the gloves are a great product, made even more so for the price once you compare these to other brands with the same features and build quality. The company is also top notch in terms of service and follow up. They have some great videos and advice on their web site or you can follow them on Youtube as well. I also periodically receive follow up emails from them with tips and helpful info. The emails always include their Cofounder Tyler's email and cell phone which is always impressive from a customer service standpoint. We are extremely happy with Renegade's product and services and consider ourselves loyal converts!

Fantastic gloves, great value
I purchased Size 5 Talon Cyclones for my 9-year-old daughter. After going through a couple pairs of other "junior" gk gloves from a more mainstream brand, these gloves were a major step up in quality for a nominal increase in price. It's great to find such attention to design and quality in a Size 5 glove! And my daughter loves them--in fact, she has recently said that she *only* wants Renegade GK gloves in the future. Our only real concern is the tightness of the elastic at the wrists, which makes the gloves difficult to pull on (a concern echoed in some other reviews). But we decided that it assured that the fit was secure and, though inconvenient, may not be a totally bad thing. My daughter uses these gloves on both turf for practice and grass for games, and they've held up quite well so far. It's nice that the fingersavers are removable because she prefers to play without them. The company's Web site has detailed information about the different models/cuts that they offer, which was super helpful. I sent a follow-up question to Renegade via their Web site, and received a prompt and detailed reply from President/Co-Founder Tyler. I appreciated that the company is invested in the success of their goalkeeping customers and that they stand behind their product. These gloves exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

Good gloves, don't last to long
Good gloves, my kids love then, and are really comfortable, good finger protection, they don't last very long, but i prefer the protection over the lasting.

Great keeper gloves
High quality and great fit. These gloves worked very well and had a great amount of cushioning. Protected my hands well. The Velcro straps were excellent and did not stretch over time like other brands have.

Great gloves!!
Just finished my first game with this gloves, best gloves I have ever wear. Normally the first time you use new gloves can be uncomfortable, but not with these gloves, felt like I been using them for months! Highly recommended!! Just make sure to buy them 1 size larger than the one you regularly use, they can be a little tight.

Good gloves but...
Good gloves, amazing grip and very comfortable, the finger protection is very good. It will be very complicated to get injured with these. But one problem is that the wrist band isn't strong enough and when I use them they are constantly taking off. Been using for 3 months now. I recommend but when using them use (if wanted) a long sleeve shirt on top so the wrist band is more secure and you don't run the risk of falling off. Overall 8/10, recommended for beginners and for semis. Good luck.

Great GK gloves for young keepers
Update 1/2026 We purchased again at my sins request. Great goalkeeper gloves for young keepers. The finger savers are a must to protect their hands. The price is great as replacing gloves for my son is necessary as he grows quickly and the gloves get smelly with prolonged use.

UPDATE: Signs of wear too soon, didn't seem to keep their sticky
Update, 1 Let me say customer service is a 5 Star easily, prompt, courteous, and willing to make it right. We are well into our second pair of gloves at this point (got them in AUG, now Dec), and they have held up much better. However, the sticky factor is long gone as the material doesn't seem to keep that aspect. I purchased a bottle of GloveGlu which has fixed that issue. I have increased the review to three stars, had the initial pair of gloves been as good as the second pair this would be a 4 star review. I think it odd, that the "pattern" in these reviews is the first pair of gloves tend to be less than quality, and then the second pair meets expectations. I would suggest that whoever is "making" the gloves need to improve their quality inspection as they gloves do not seem to be meeting the owners expectations, and it can't be good for the bottom line of the company to continue to reissue new gloves and give discounts on the original purchase to make it right. We purchase a new set every year, if the product would have had the quality of the second issue, I would have bought next years set from this company; however, given the pattern of the reviews, that may not be the case. Once again customer service was 5 star, in the end the review is about the product, customer service should have never been involved nor a second pair of gloves. That combined with the pattern of the reviews, I feel 3 star (for this experience) is justified. A bit disappointed in the gloves, we bought on May 18th it is now July 24th and they seem to showing signs of wear already the last set of gloves didn't show for 8 months or so. They also do not seem as "sticky" as the previous pair. With that said my 11 year old plays year round both indoor and out, uses the gloves three times a week for practice plus 1-2 games a weekend. Seems as if he is dropping more balls than he use to as they gloves don't seem to have kept their grip. So now I am stuck with either paying $15 - $30 bucks for some glove stick or applying that amount toward another pair of gloves 2 months after these were purchases. All in all fairly disappointed in the gloves. UPDATE: WOW! What Customer Service, within two days of this post, I heard from the owner of the company who believed the gloves could have been defective AND he sent overnight a new pair so my son would have them for his weekend games. I am certainly eager to see how the new set of gloves wear this go around and really hope they are as good as the customer service. Will Update later.

These gloves offer soo much protection to your hands and fingers I couldn’t believe it. You save shots and don’t feel a thing, the grip is excellent and they are very comfortable. Best pair of gloves I’ve bought and well worth the money
