I haven't used the water beads because I have plenty from another set bought on Amazon. I can say that water beads last a LONG time when kept in a sealed container! I have used the same beads for 6 months without having to rehydrate.However, I have used the pink and white pearls for wedding shower centerpieces and they are very pretty! Easy to use with my existing water beads and they do exactly what they are meant to do - look like they are floating in jars/vases. I am very pleased with these!

My project looked as expected

Layer the colored balls with the gel beads. Makes it easier. Add gel beads gently or will displace colored balls. These photos were taken 3 days after the party. I wanted the truly floating effect, so added more water. But since not packed with beads, candle floated around, so I added more candles.

Worked great with Orbeez and little twinkle lights for centerpieces at a graduation party.

It's a very pretty bag of vase filler but not enough of it to fill a standard vase. You would need at least 2 to 3 bags to really get your money's worth for these no matter how pretty they are.
