This charger was exactly what I needed. The charge indicator works as expected and stops charging once the battery is full. I love that it runs on USB because I can use a USB powerbank when travelling and not worry about finding an AC jack. Also, the fact they went to the expense of including both USB micro and USB-C is a great touch. I actually have some camera chargers that are USB-C and others that are USB micro - So this saves me having to worry about whether I've packed the right cord. Not common to see customer friendly features like this, I just wish more devices would do it!

I like how small this charger is even though it can charge two batteries while the original one that came with my camera is the same size but can only charge one. It is also nice that it has two options of cable to charge it with. While micro usb is gradually being phased out and replaced with usb c, it is still nice to have two options of cable to charge your batteries with. The screen shows how much progress your recharging has made which is much more useful than ones where it is red for charging and then green when it is done. The batteries charge relatively quickly even when you have two charging at once. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a charging block so you can plug it into a wall outlet. This isn’t a huge deal since previously pretty much every electronic that used a usb cable to charge came with a charging block, you probably have one that will work with this.

We've been using this with the LP-E8 batteries we have for the T5i, and so far, so good!The charger is compact and can charge one or two batteries at the same time.What I like about this is that it uses USB (micro or USB-C), so it's a far more portable option than plugging into an AC wall outlet.I was worried that the output power would be too much, but it uses either 700mA or 500mA depending on whether you have one or two batteries charging at once. The original Canon charger charges at around 720mA.Charging is fast (as little as 2h) but slower if you are charging more than one battery, or if the input is only 1A.Finally, you get a status indicator for each slot, giving you an idea of where the charge is at (out of 4 bars).Overall, I'm quite happy with this charger.
