If any of you have been fishing on a boat its usually windy unless your on a lake. In south Tx its windy most days so lighting a cig while fishing is a task all on its own. If your fishing by yourself its even harder, but with this little lightweight lighter there is no need to fear, just click zap and puff away. It almost sounds like mini taser and looks like one too. The electric beams are strange at first but once you see how powerful they are against strong winds will make you understand why these lighters are also a must have for survivalist and campers too. Then add the chargeable factor to all this and its a great tool to have. The battery life is impressive also. Honestly I would like to have many of these one for my truck, one for the boat, one for the camping bag, and one for the bug out bag. Gift it to your Dad for fathers day, or anyone who you know that would enjoy a great survival tool.

Feels nice, shuts tight, charging port isn't lose. So far I like it. Of course I won't know how good this product is for a year, but I have no complaints right now. However I do with it would have come in Black with orange stripe. I wanted black one, but if I were to drop it in the water or in the woods, I would never find it due to it's color. So I bought the ugly orange one since this is for my bugout SHTF bag, and if the SHTF scenario did happen, I would hate losing my lighter in bushes or something. Still black with orange or yellow stripe, or reflect on each side would be a lot nice.The instructions don't tell you anything about the charging indicator besides saying it's an indicator. So in case you are wondering when charging the light will be blue, and then light will then go off when fully charged.

We have to light 24 candles every day at work. Not the wax ones, the little ones filled with alcohol. They use up those long BBQ style lighters about every 3 days. This has solved the issue and much more sustainable. Needs to be charged about 1 time per week. The candles don't light very easily.I have also used this to light lantern, stoves and other people's cigarettes.Why 4 stars?It has a high pitched squeal that some older folks can't hear, but it's audible.

Although the product has an extendable neck it doesn't Flex very well. Also the ark available does not allow for a lot of covered area so lighting a cigarette would be difficult.

The product works as it should. The only thing I worry about are the small pieces of metal that cause the ark. I'm just worried they are frail. Other than that it works well even in rain and high wind situations

Charge lasts a couple days for an average smoker.Bummer when the battery dies but…

Man I'm so happy with this lighter. It lights better than any Zippo I've owned. I wish I had this when I was on board my ship in the Navy. Perfect light every time.

A full charge lasts about two & a half to three days. I have lit fires using paper, fine kindling & fire lighters.

Going great from first charge. Still going after four days. My old one of a different modile need charging every day, flip lid switch went bad.Touch is very bright. Made mistake by looking at light when on. Saw spot for over an hour.
