My IWH loves his bandanas and I figured some shamrocks would be slightly cliche but oh well he looks adorable!

I love the coffee pattern! I got the size large since my dog is a medium and it looks really good on her! I wish there was more coffee patterns!

Great accent for my Georgia Peach 🐾She looked so cute and it was easy to wash and bright in color! Not to mention a great price!

Very cute. Could have been a little longer. My dog has a 12 inch neck and has very little exto tie off. Wish it was sewn together with double-sided fabric.

I've been looking for a cool, cute reversible (i.e., double-sided) summer-themed bandana for my cocker-chihuahua-poodle-dachsund-pom mix (gotta love doggie DNA testing) ; this one had very good reviews, a solid 4.7 rating, and the description made it sound like a very high-quality product. This one seemed to check all my boxes and it was a next-day delivery, so I decided to give it a try.First, the good: The print is, in fact, very cute without being at all "cutesy". Nice artwork, vibrant colors, crisp lines. I love the different color combos for the ice cream "flavors". My dog happens to be a male, but I can easily see this print working for female pups, as well. It feels as though it will be pretty soft once it's washed.My guy is somewhere around 23 pounds and his neck was 15" when we measured it back in April (it probably hasn't changed much if at all); I bought him a LARGE and it looks as though it would be the right size for him.Now the not-so-good: I happen to prefer bandanas that are printed on both sides. They seem to be better made overall; my experience is that the ones that have print on both sides wash better and last longer. I hate having to make sure that none of the blank side is visible once I've tied it on my dog. And I honestly think that having printing on only one side makes the product look lower quality than - in this instance - it very likely is. (Yes, reversible is definitely a "thing" with me - sorry.)The text I've cut-and-pasted above describes the bandana as "thicker" and goes on to say it has "double layers". To me, both of those things together implied a double-sided print - why would anyone attatch two layers together and NOT sew them so that both fron and back are printed?? - and also implied that the bandana would be a nice, thicker fabric. Right?Never assume.There's that single-sided print, which I've already covered above. In addition, as you can see in the photo I attached, the fabric is thin enough that the print - including the colors - is very easily seen if you're looking at the back of the bandana.This bandana definitely has just ONE LAYER of fabric; I don't know what the seller considers "double layer" to entail (and I welcome them to tell me), but I'm defining it as "two layers of fabric sewn together". By that definition, this is NOT a two-layer bandana.I **suspect** they're referring to the double ROW of stitching ... a nice finish feature, I guess, but very different from the anticipated double LAYER of fabric.A sticker on the plastic package in which the bandana was sealed upon my receipt indicates that this product was "MADE IN CHINA" (for those who trry to purchase only domestically-produced products); based upon how awkwardly some of the text in the product description was worded, the "layer"/"row" issue might just be an honest language translation mistake. I hope so.Quality-wise, It feels okay, but "higher quality" and "better-than-average durability" (other assumptions I made based upon the Amazon blurb)? I strongly doubt it.The fabric doesn't feel like it will disintegrate after one trip through the washing machine; however, it is not screaming "super-durable" to the touch, either. It's a little bit scratchy right out of the wrapper.I can only guess at how soft it is and easy to tie/whether it stays tied once it's been laundered. I'm probably going to return this bandana and buy one of the other ones I liked. (There were MANY!) Since I'm likely going to return this one, I don't want to wash it or play with it too much.Having said that, I predict it will soften up somewhat after its first washing but still not feel super soft. Again, though, that's based upon my conjecture, using the unlaundered bandana I received to help me predict what the effects of washing it will be.FINAL THOUGHTS: Honestly, this "ice cream cone" print bandana seems to be a decent product. The print design itself is very cool (no pun intended!) and very fresh.However, I'm not sure how well it will hold up through any type of rough-and-tumble play with humans or other dogs (I definitely wouldn't use it to play tug-of-war!) or through repeated dunking in salt ocean water or chlorinated swimming pool water.And I can almost guarantee that if your dog is a "chewer" (as mine is) this bandana won't last five minutes if they manage to abscond with it.But for hikes, festivals, running through the park, or strolling on neighborhood streets, this bandana should probably be okay.Laundering directions indicate that it can be machine washed on cold but should not be run though a clothes dryer, so that's something to consider, as well. It's purportedly cotton, so once it's washed it will possibly shrink a little and almost certainly wrinkle; if a wrinkled dog bandana is your kryptonite, this one isn't for you unless you don't mind ironing it.Thin, single-sided (albeit really cool) printed design, a little bit scratchy.The bandana packaging is tagged "Made in China" (for those who base their purchase decisions at least partially upon that info).FINAL RATING: 3/5 STARS:The product received the 3 stars it does have based upon the quality of the print and upon the creative, vibrant way the ice cream cones were drawn by the designer.I wish that the other product aspects lived up to the "bar" set by the designer.I feel very misled by the seller's claims in the Amazon product blurb that the bandana has "double-layers" (IT DOESN'T) and that it's "thicker" (IT'S NOT); that feeling of being bamboozled is the primary reason that I took 2 stars from my rating.(I "get" that a language mix-up may be to blame; I also expect to be able to count on the product info in Amaxon US (and Amazon CA, UK, AU et al) to have been vetted for these types of mistakes before the English translation is published.)Sellers, if it's not reversible, and it's only average (at best) thickness/quality, please don't imply that it is something it's not.
