Residing in the Deep South, I actually missed the smell of snow. This fragrance SMELLS EXACTLY like snow on the ground in New England. Crisp notes with a little bit of ozone! ;) I have used many of the Demeter products, LOVE THEM. I enjoyed the Snow fragrance, but adore the Demeter Soap cologne spray.

I've included a picture in case it's helpful for people to see the size of the bottle. These 4oz bottles are huge and last forever. This perfume has a lot of aquatic notes to it. To be honest I'm a bit disappointed in the fragrance not because it doesn't smell good but because it smells so similar to Demeter Thunderstorm which I already own. It smells great but I was hoping for a unique fragrance. As far as the scent compared to actual snow....I live in Minnesota. We get plenty of snow during our extremely long and cold winters. I feel like Demeter missed the mark on this one (although not completely). Snow has a distinct smell and I am very familiar with it. The smell is sharp and crisp, it smells slightly of water but with a touch of ozone and a softness that I can only describe as pure and clean. This is similar but I think Demeter went overboard with the aquatic notes in this fragrance. Because of the strong aquatic notes it smells more like a clean lake than snow (lakes are something I'm also very familiar with as we have 10,000 of them in MN) Snow has a very distinct "frozen" aquatic smell. I'm sure it would be difficult to recreate.Despite the fact that I don't feel like this fragrance completely captures the smell of snow, and the fact that this fragrance smells so similar to Thunderstorm, I still like it. I'm just disappointed that it didn't hit the mark. I'll use this, probably often and I have no problem with the actual fragrance itself, it's just somewhat annoying that it's so similar to a fragrance I already own.If this is your first Demeter purchase, it's a great brand, and despite being singular fragrances Demeter manages to create complex recreations that (almost always) are very accurate. Their fragrance "Dirt" smells exactly like sniffing a handful of fresh, rich, earthy soil. I'm sure this smells like snow to people who have not lived, breathed, and slept snow 6 months out of the year, every year for their entire lives. And it does smell reminiscent of snow, it's just not the spot on, incredibly accurate fragrances I've come to expect and love from Demeter. Still a great fragrance that is unique from any other perfume brand and I do recommend it.

So far I've bought Thunderstorm, Snow, and Funeral Home by Demeter and I have to say they're not the best. It works better as a room spray than perfume for me, and all of their scents are very strong especially Snow. It tickles your nose just like on a cold day, but the smell is not a favorite.

As someone who lives close to the Equator, and has never seen the snow, I really don't know what I was expecting. But it smells like the ground after it rains? Y'know, something wet. Not sure if snow actually smells like that, but I was hoping for something with a sense of crispiness by some reviews I've read.Okay, I figured it. It smells like ice! Which I like. The smell doesn't last long though, perhaps a few hours - which I suppose that is normal for a perfume.I arrived pretty fast, - thanks Amazon, and the carrier in charge.And congrats to Demeter for achieving capturing the smell of ice (snow) and let us wear it.

My new signature scent 😊 I wore Mariel perfume by H2O for 8+ years before it was discontinued and was looking for a similar light, fresh, aquatic fragrance. Snow is it!!

I definitely don't get the big hype from this. I cannot smell it after I sprayed it on. They must be paying people to say is great things about this product. Mine doesn't have any strength at all, I wanted to love it but I don't

Have never been disappointed in Demeter fragrances. They almost always smell exactly like what they are named after. Snow is no exception! Crisp, clean & maybe a slight scent of warm cotton. Just a lovely fragrance, ALWAYS receive multiple compliments from multiple people every single time I wear Snow! I’m also a huge fan of their Pure Soap & Laundromat! For the amount of fragrance & the price you pay, you just can NOT go wrong!

Smelled more like a thunderstorm than snow.It’s not bad but no like fresh snow!I loved the Christmas Tree and Gingerbread best!!
