The camera works flawlessly at my home with WiFi. I want to use it at a location with no WiFi and store motion detected video on the memory card I inserted. Is this possible?

I will preface this by saying these cameras are excellent quality for the price. However, the standard field of view is not the best, and the video is too dark in my opinion, but the panning and tilting work really well! The playback features in the app are minimal. I didn't use a SD card, so I don't know if playback is different, but with cloud playback, you cannot rewind or fast forward the videos, you can only play or pause them. Motion in the recordings or live view tend to be a bit jagged and a bit unclear. The motion detection is decent and motion tracking seemed to work well when I tested it. Motion detection alerts consist of a notification and still shot of whatever is detected. The navigation to either the live video or recording could be smoother when you check a notification and the wording of the notifications for person detection is weird. It may be petty, but it says "human body detected," and it weirded me out haha. The included cord is only about 3 feet long, and it and the adapter are white, not black.With some app improvement and the ability to adjust brightness levels in the videos, these cameras could be top-notch, and I believe you will be hard-pressed to find a better camera for the price! I bought 2 of these camera and 2 1st gen Ring indoor cameras for comparison, and I ultimately decided to keep the Ring cameras due to better quality video, more robust features, and significantly better field of view. It was still a tough decision! However, you can't go wrong with this good quality, budget-friendly option!

It's probably fine for the low price, but it only takes a photo when motion is detected. So you can go to the app and watch live, but no recorded video. I suppose it records video if you get a subscription but there is too little information with it to know if that's true. So I'm disappointed but it works.

I expected a somewhat pixelated image from this inexpensive device, and I expected to need to spend an hour setting it up. Both expectations were dashed. The image is great and it took less than 5 minutes to set it up! (We have it to monitor a certain activity that our dog does so we can try to catch her in the act and take gentle corrective action.)

Ok I like this camera. In the first picture; you can’t see the dogs that I’m babysitting- sorry for the messy kitchen, by the way! Picture 2 is an old TENVISTY camera that I got 4 years ago! They are on the exact same spot on a kitchen shelf; except this ‘new’ camera I had pushed as far forward as I could- still cannot see the dogs! Other than that; it’s a nice camera - just doesn’t work for me. Put TENVIs or Tenvisty back on the front porch.. ordered a different camera for the kitchen that looks similar to the old one- that I paid like: $20 bucks for in 2019… they still have camera’s- but I don’t need 2 for $69.99! So yes; this is a nice enough camera but not enough coverage for what I need… and yes- in the first picture the camera is down as far as it will go!

So I got this for my mother-in-law who lives in an apartment and sometimes they do these checks in her place. We were able to set it up on her wifi network and saw the little camera in action. This little machine is amazing in monitoring any movement in the apartment when she is away. Still have not tested the micro sd video saving feature, but looking forward to that.

Camara works great. I can even monitor it from my house. It will keep my husband safe and the staff can monitor it too.
