Used twice. First time around the results were out of this world. My ink looks phenomenal five weeks later. Even if I had a complaint, the price point vs quantity is almost tenfold vs the nearest competitor. So don’t waste your money on a couple 4”x8” patches. I didn’t see a good reason in purchasing a mainstream brand when there’s no additional therapeutic benefit. You don’t want your new tattoo to scab at all. Incubate the ink and “wound” until the body’s immune response has stopped sending natural antibodies to the tattoo area (3-5 days), then remove and follow regular protocol. This helps keep the ink in place and “ooze” out. For clarification, I typically leave the tattoo shop with original/fresh ink, wait about 12 hrs, then I remove the OG wrap/bandage. Next, lightly coat new tattoo with Bacitracin + Zinc, the. apply the 2nd skin and leave it on for 3-5 days. Sometimes it doesn’t stick perfectly, primarily due to user error. Make sure the edges of the wrap are beyond your new ink and so it a stick to fresh/dry skin. If not - it will just come undone and you’ll have to repeat (don’t worry - it usually happens 1-2x).

I had ordered this a few years ago and was happy to see that it was still available for my newest tattoo. I had recently tried hustle butters brand and it left a horrible adhesive behind and it gave me a skin rash. This Azen aftercare did not do that. It stayed in place, protected my new tattoo and did not hurt or leave a residue behind when I removed it. I cannot recommend this product enough!

I got this so I could keep doing BJJ while my new piece was healing, worked well to keep it protected. Hurt a bit to take off (not surprising), and would leave some bruising around the edge of where I put it, probably because it adheres to the skin so well. Didn’t damage the tattoo though, I would only put it on for a couple hours of training.

These are awesome, sticks well and allows the tattoo to heal for a few days with out risk of infection.

Irritated my skin so bad! Barely came up even though I was drowning it in the shower for over an hour (and only getting about 1/3 of it off) and left most of the actual adhesive behind trapping some of the excess ink/plasma making me think it had damaged the tattoo at first (thankfully my aftercare lotion is helping to slowly work ot off without hurting my arm further). Do not recommend at all! I've used other brands and have never had this much trouble!

If you apply the correct way then it's an awesome product and works as it should!
