Sturdy
House shifted a bit so lock was getting stuck on the super small hole in the plate that came with the lock. This plate feels more secure, thicker, and the opening is wide enough to allow the door to shift a little on each side.

It doesn't work for old doors and frames

Finish was a perfect match.
It was used for a strike plate for a security latch ( dead bolt ) on my front door jamb that was factory pre cut into the new jamb. A bit of depth adjustment may be required in the new jamb.
