This product works great. It does take a little learning with the heat gin to get it right. You can use a stencil or freehand to get the design you want. Look just like it was wood burned.

The media could not be loaded.  This product is great for crafters who would like a wood burned look without having to etch with a burner. It is nice and creamy making it easy to apply either by hand or using a stencil. Provides a good wood burned effect where the cream was. Great for any crafting but especially when making multiples of items.

After following the directions, I was extremely disappointed in this product. 99% of my stencil did not show up. The part that did looked like little brown burned bubbles. Complete waste of time and wasted money! If I could have given it 0 stars I would have.

Though I am a true wood-burner and have a pen-like burner -- I also have a Cricut cutting machine and like to use it for stencils -- so I thought I'd try this method of woodburning also. I have tried the gel, and am not really that fond of it. The paste, though, is great. Much better medium for sticking in place, not bleeding outside of the vinyl and burning evenly with the heat gun. As more of these hit the market, the cost is coming down considerably. There are recipes for making your own...but honestly, I don't have the time or patience for that. This product works well and has a very reasonable price. A little goes a long way too. I highly recommend.

Great burning paste, works wonderful, goes on smoothly and burns easily leaving a even, smooth look! Great amount for the money, i have already used it several times and there is more than plenty left! Very easy to spread and wipe off the excess to return to the container, does not leave a funny smell or residue and cleans up very easily!

I've wanted to try wood burning for years, but found the irons hard to control.Using paste I was able to use a stencil and a heat gun. I came out really great, nice and even.I used a spreading tool, basically a flat semi-rigid piece of plastic, to smooth the paste over the wood. Watch out for smears over the side. It spread easily and it burned evenly. I'm excited to try other projects.

wife does alot of projects on her cricut. she recently did a set of custom bottle openers with a wood handle and printed a template to use with this burn effect gel and it worked wonderfully. she had used stuff that came in a pen and found this to provide a more even burn in. very happy with it

I have done wood burning for years, and have made some very nice projects. I saw this for the first time, and thought I would try it. I was hoping to be able to paint a design with it and then burn it with the heat, but you really need to use a stencil with it, and just spread the paste over the stencil. This produces a nice product, but I don't consider it an art project if I am using stencils. I will probably experiment with this and see what I can do with it, but as is, I am disappointed.
