Great fit …
As many videos will show you have to break top of old vent which is untrue ! On my std cab 99 take a long flat end screwdriver go between cab and vent it will pop loose , crawl under truck reach up pop new one in, be sure to clean around hole …. Dis assembly and the assembly is Leeds than 5 minutes!!!If you notice water or a musty smelll like a 8 year old kid left their socks in ur truck more than likely this is the culprit…… 😂

Better to buy Dorman ones
The top clip broke while driving and didn’t know until I had a puddle of water in my back seats, seemed like a good replacement but better to be safe the first time and get the more expensive and better built ones (yes many Dorman parts are faulty but even if they are you can get another replacement for free)

Very easy to install-Without Back seat Removal
These are as good as OEM. Mine were OEM on a 14 year old Chevy. but the seals were cracking and the rubber was turning to goo allowing rainwater to enter and pool under rear door threshhold wetting carpet.. Pull up the covers next to the rear seat to see water. Musty Mold grows under carpet. If you are getting bad odors and water you should also check the third Brake Light. Use RTV and replace light if cracked. To replace the Cabin Pressure Vents use a very long common Screwdriver in the space above the exisitng vent (between the Cab and Box Bed) Place it under the Top seal-give it a whack with a hammer and it should fall out. If it pulls away from the top and remains in place , go under the bed and use a long screwdriver to pry and push up the bottom. Use Alcohol to clean the Cab Paint. To install, under the bed , place vent in the cab hole, align square notch on bottom and snap in top. Flaps will be outside each hinged from it's top. After installation, Make sure the seal is flat all the way around. It needs to be just tight enough to be secure.May I also suggest allowing the carpet to dry out in the sun, use small pieces of wood to elevate the carpet, use rags to dry accessible areas,, and use Mold killer to kill the mold and stop the stinky odor.Other place to check for leaks: The roof seams above the door, the door gasket plug retainer near roof seam, damaged Door Gasket, blocked door drains (slits) allowing water to rise and leak through door cards or speaker, and Shark antenna gasket accessible by opening front headliner.
