I bought these because so many people have said they are good for cold sores. Not sure if they work so we’ll see how it goes. The size of the tablet is massive. Even snapping them in half they are too big for me to swallow. I bite them in little bits luckily they don’t taste horrible.Update: been using these for 2 years and no cold sores

Amazing for dealing with b@stard coldsores.Take 1 a day for maintenance and if you should flare up i take 3 tabs immediately and continue 3 times a day. Its generally 3days to disappear and doesn't blister as it would normally.I use this in conjunction with rubbing alcohol directly on it as soon as it starts the tingle. Then I use an acne cream to dry it out.Couldn't recommend enough as a lifetime sufferer to this is the best it gets in terms of treatment.Good luck

I was advised to take lysine by my gastroenterologist. Working well. No more mouth ulcers and nose sores. Seems to be helping with inflammation elsewhere. Quite a big pill

I have found this product very good for reducing the incidence and severity of coldsores.

Really great product. I take 2x5 tablets if I have a cold sore, and it goes in less than half the time that it normally would!AND if you catch it quick enough - as soon as it starts tingling - it doesn't even break out!!SO MUCH BETTER than drugstore creams in my opinion.

A friend recommended that I take this product, as I have suffered with mouth ulcers, cold sores and, more recently, a canker! Since taking L-Lysine, I have been problem free. Would recommend to anyone who suffers similar ailments.
