They are designed to be disposable after a single use, and you will be hard pressed to get multiple uses that maintain an ideal chemical reaction. As such, these economic ratings are not done by milliliters, but by price per whole vial. So the vials with more fluid in them are not necessarily a better deal. That said, some vials may be designed with an unsatisfactory amount of fluid per vial for even a single use. You decide.GRAND TOTAL RECOMMENDATIONSAllergan Refresh: Recommended for evening/nighttime useBausch & Lomb: HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDBlink Tears: Recommended with reservationsSimilasan: Not RecommendedSystane Ultra: HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDTears Naturale: Not RecommendedTheratears: Not RecommendedEveryone's eye chemistry is different, and different products will affect each person uniquely. Messy and wasteful tears
This is the quote from the product description: "Tears Naturale Free is the only preservative-free lubricant eye drop with reclosable vials. Each vial of Tears Naturale Free contains up to 3 times as much volume as other products."The first sentence is not true because Refresh Plus has reclosable vial and it is better from my experience. The droplet from Tears Naturale vial is too big. It overflows my eyes and drips to my ears from the corners of eyes and to my nose if I apply it when standing. If I don't wipe it off well, it will form a thin salt crust at the corner of the eye and it hurts. When I put back the cap on, it often squeeze another drop out of the vial. On the glasstop of my nightstand where I put the vial every night there are salt stains. In addition, there will be a little liquid left in the vial if it is less than the minimum volume that Tear Naturale vial can dispense. Tears Naturale does contain more volume than Refresh Plus but it wastes more and very messy. If you compare the two vials, you will understand why Tears Naturale produce such big a drop. The nozzle of Tears Naturale vial is almost straight while the Refresh Plus is more tapered. I also weighed both vials and found that the vial of Tears Naturale is 57% heavier than the one of Refresh Plus, which means it used more material. This is so wasteful, bad for the environment to put 57% of material into landfull.I hope Alcon will chang the design of the vial to make a better artificial tear dispenser that produce droplet of the right size and environmentally friendly. I will not use this product until this chang happens.

Great product, 2x more volume per vial
I had LASIK done and have used Refresh Plus, Systane Ultra Lubricant Eyedrops as well as Allergan Optive Eye Drops. The last three are all 0.4ml vials while the Tears Natural is about 0.9ml per (resealable) vial. So right off the bat it's about 2x more value. Just for kicks I thought I'd check the price per unit quantity - Tears is VERY competitively at $0.203/ml as compared to Systane Ultra at $1.350/ml. That's about 6.5x or 650%! Yes, I get a kick out of being quant every so often ... Anyway, although I didn't experience any discomfort, please note that the active ingredients in ALL of them are different - in case you care.Since these are resealable and relatively large, I use the same vial for about 8-10hours before throwing it away. Remember it's got no preservatives, so it's not recommended to use it the next day. So I'm using fewer plastic vials than earlier meaning I can take just 1-2 with me for the day when stepping out. For the greens out there, this means lesser plastic waster (although these vials ARE small ...)

Plain and simple- tears w.o preservative for post-lasik
Bought these because they were on prime and needed some quickly before a trip! The tubes are a bit larger than the other ones i was using which is nice to have extra stuff; however i typically don't use them again anyways so not a big selling point. They are in packs of 5-6 tubes connected together so it makes them easy for traveling. They only thing that is different than the other ones I used is that they are connected very tightly and one of them broke after trying to pull them apart-. not a big deal- only happened once or twice, but just a note. Also the caps aren't as tight as the other ones I was using, so a few times they were in my purse post- use and the caps came off and the tears spilled out. again, not a big deal but not as great as the previous reviews sounded.Regardless, would buy again in the future.
