Works pretty well on the Rog Ally
Works great for connecting mouse and keyboard and monitor to my rog ally. Don't expect the 30watt turbo mode with the original rog ally charger but it charges just fine, probably giving 60watts instead of 65watts. Totally recommend as a cheap little USB c hub.

Great USB-C Hub
7/22/23 UPDATE:After 3 weeks of using this I've noticed my monitor will turn off randomly. The USB peripherals continue to work without issue. Changing my review to 2 stars because of this.7/2/2023 ORIGINAL:This USB-C hub is great! Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the plastic bit inside the USB-A ports were a bit too high at first so nothing could get plugged in. This was an easy fix though. I just used a bit of pressure to bend the plastic bit slightly downwards and all the ports worked! The build quality feels solid as well.I was able to use a USB mouse, keyboard, and external monitor on my phone using this hub. Pass-through charging worked as well however when I used my quick-charge adapter and cable to charge my Galaxy S21, it charged at the normal slower speed instead of fast charging.Overall it works great and for the price of $10 at time of review it can't be beat!

What all up to date laptops need
Once again I have got a product that the seller highlights that is for "MacBook Pro/Air" when it is suitable for "all" laptops and for tablets as well. The reason these products are needed was actually down to Apple a number of years back. To cut costs and maximise profit Apple removed the vital Ports that are constantly needed. PC / Laptop manufacturers soon followed when they realised they can actually get away with it. They use "digital" as the excuse. One can now download software, games, music and movies from the Internet is the reasoning they have given. Think about it! What happens when Windows gets the blue screen of death and the only solution is to do a clkean reinstall. As there is no way to access the internet one is basically knackered, with a lot of time needed to waste trying to get access to the internet elsewhere and to download Windows onto a removable drive. One then has to u-pload it from that drive and run the executable files to reinstall. Then comes the wo9rst part, one doesn't have an activation code sop the PC is still useless.PC and Laptop manufacturers don't even install DVD drives no more so one nees external drives. If one is lucky enough to insist on being sent hard copies of software, including Windows then it does save a lot of hassle at times. However, one still needs a DVD Drive and a means to connect it. The chances are that the limited USB Ports that one has available are all in use. So, does one remove the BT (Bluetooth) dongle for the keyboard and / or mouse? Maybe one can do without the fancy strip lights for a short time? Well, this product is a solution as it can provide all the needed Ports that are no longer installed inside up to date PCs / laptops.Simply plug this into a PC / laptop and one has extra USB Port of which all three are USB A v3.0. There's a handy HDMI Port for tranferring meia such as 4K movies from the PC/laptop to a large TV screen or projector and best of all there is a much needed Card Reader that is compatable with SD cards. CArd readers where one of the 1st things to be removed from PCs/laptops as some fool in Apple actually thought they are not needed due to digital downloading from the internet. PC manufacturers soon believed the same and all forgot that consumers still use cards in many, many devices from digital cameras through to Smart Phones and even through to security cams. This product is a great problem solver in giving back the Ports that should never have been taken away for increased profits. It is; well made, it's durable, doesn't overheat, it is both a good quality and good value device when considering what it gives so I am recommending it.

Good quality hub with nice transfer speeds but perhaps a little expensive
The media could not be loaded. The video shows exactly what you get and my initial impressions of build quality as well as a quick overview of the ports, so I won’t go into all that here. Instead, I’ll go into what I consider most important: the transfer speeds and the port functionality. Full testing methodology included below for your information, but really, the summary is all you need to know.Summary: Nice spring loaded Micro SD card slot but poor Micro SD read performance. Good to see three USB 3.0 ports and all worked as expected. Build quality feels very good. Video out (HDMI) worked fine but did take a bit longer than hubs normally do for my monitor to recognise the video signal (but there were no problems once it did). This hub is capable of outputting video to an external display, although you should remember that the USB C port on your computer or device must be able to display video over USB C to use the display features (not all USB C ports do).Pros & Cons:+ Good/expected: No real discernable drop in performance for the USB 3 Type A and Power Delivery ports compared to plugging in to the computer directly.+ Good/expected: HDMI port worked without issue.- Bad/disappointing: A substantial drop in performance for the Micro SD port compared to plugging in to the computer directly.-----------------------------------------Testing methodology:- USB 3 type A: Control - 10 GBps SSD enclosure containing 3300 MB/s NVMe SSD plugged directly into a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) Type A socket on the test PC (CrystalDiskMark benchmark 464.20 MB/s); Test - Same drive plugged into the USB 3 type A port on this hub.- Micro SD: Control - 128GB Lexar V30 Micro SD plugged into Transcend USB 3.1 reader (CrystalDiskMark benchmark 95.08 MB/s); Test - Same card plugged into the SD slot on this hub.- HDMI: Tested (display and audio) via connection to Samsung monitor and LG 4K TV using known good HDMI cable- Power Delivery: Control - Measured using inline Type C Power monitor connected to 96W charger delivering power directly to a Samsung 21 FE phone; Test - Same, but through this hub instead of directly.Results:- USB 3 Type A speed: 461.08 MB/s (3.12 MB/s slower than control)- Micro SD speed: 23.46 MB/s (71.62 MB/s slower than control)- HDMI out: OK (including audio delivery over HDMI)- Power Delivery: 13.90 W (0.2 W less than control)

Good-quality but pricey 7-in-1 hub
This hub quickly expands connections within the laptop while working simultaneously. The Cakitte 7-in-1 USB-C Hub is made of durable aluminium alloy casting and has a small pocket size, built-in smart chips, and exclusive multi-protection heat dissipation systems. It has nicely integrated all of the functions required by a laptop's USB-C ports into seven: one HDMI port that supports 4K@60Hz or 1080p visual resolution, one USB-C PD charging port with up to 100W power delivery, three USB 3.0 for high-speed data transmission at 5 Gbps, and one SD/TF card reader with 512GB maximum support. Moreover, this can be easily installed on my laptop without internal driver downloads. It reinforces 100W USB-C pass-through charging, making it ideal for MacBook Pro/Air, iMac, XPS, and other Type-C devices. The smooth and clear playback display is excellent for FullHD movies, 3D video games, and business meetings, and the transmission yield meets my needs in seconds. As of now, they all appear to be working as expected. All my other devices were instantly recognized and performed after being plugged in. The HDMI port connects to my computer monitor, delivering excellent image quality with no signal interruptions. Its metal structure appears to be robust enough to withstand a fall. It was also compact to fit in my pocket or laptop bag.Overall, this is a very well-made, long-lasting, and reliable adapter that will allow me to expand the connectivity of my USB-C-powered device. However, the price point of £39.99 is already expensive compared to other hubs that offer more than seven ports.

Good build quality, excellent performance and a 100W PD charge port!
The USB hub arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed inside a plain but smart looking retail box.The overall quality of the hub is very good and it seems well made, I especially like the outer metal casing which makes it both look and feel like a premium product. Its designed more for use with a Mac but it’s been working perfectly fine with my Windows 11 PC. The hub is plug and play so was ready to use immediately and every port works brilliantly with whatever device or card I plug into it. USB memory drives transfer data at the same speed they would if plugged directly into my PC and I haven’t had any problem while using multiple devices at the same time. The included Type-C 100W PD input is very useful, and it means you can charge your device at the same time as using the hub without requiring an additional Type-C port. I did try plugging a Type-C memory drive into it but its purely for charging purposes only.Overall, I think this is an excellent USB hub that’s good quality, has plenty of ports, and decent performance. The price is quite high compared with other brands but many other don’t support the higher 100W PD and aren’t as well made. It’s a product I’m happy to recommend and I feel its easily worth the full five stars, buy with confidence!

Great hub
This type C USB hub is compact but very useful for the MacBook.Featuring 4K HDMI output port, 3*USB 3.0 ports, SD/ TF card readers and Type C Power Delivery charging port connections it allows you to connect to most accessories. I like that it also has a USB type C port so you can charge your computer whilst this is connected. 3 x USB 3.0 ports deliver at the super speed of 5Gbps, a revolutionary advancement compared to USB 2.0 ports. It is silver and it pretty much perfectly matches the colour of my MacBook. When plugged in, I would recommend putting your computer on a flat surface since there would be a risk of damaging the type C connector if you caught it on your lap. This is due to it only having one point of connection, which will mean this is a real riskSo far I haven’t had any issues with a USB data stick.I got this because of these quality controls: stable output, temperature protection, anti-over-current and anti-short-circuit; Certified by CE, FCC, RoHSOverall, it is a small, portable and very useful device that has allowed me to connect a lot more to my MacBook.
